Bob, you seem to be a post-and-run cheerleader for Rauner. Exactly how do you think Rahm’s RINO bestie is gonna bring about “change” (other than that of the best-known Illinois Combiner, Emperor Zero) ? You can’t seriously think this puppet is going to do anything but maintain the corrupt status quo.

I take Rauner at his word, is what I do:
“I’ve given to four Democrats: Emanuel, Daley, Ed Rendell because he was head of the DNC and he was willing to take on the teachers’ unions when he was in Philadelphia and I wanted a national guy who was a Democrat and would do battle, and the other one is Forrest Claypool, who was running against John Stroger for Cook County (Board chair). Stroger was not a good guy. Claypool is honest and unfortunately he’s a Democrat, but there’s no Republicans willing to run in Cook County,” Rauner said.
I am absolutely a cheerleader for Rauner. You and I am disagree but if Illinois stays under the control of the democrat oligarchy led by Pat Quinn, I can say with good certainty that no serious reform or change is going to happen. I am more than willing to take the change that Rauner will be a man of his word.
Besides, I think Rahm has a lot better “besties”.
