Turkey is totally toothless.

No, Putin is the toothless one. He picks fights with weaklings like a school yard bully. Putin won’t lay a finger on Turkey because they have a competent military and are backed up by NATO.

Turkey has a lot of F-16’s sitting around that can be loaded for anti-shipping and they have a lot of plans on the books for defending against a Black Sea invasion force.

Actually they can, one of the plans from the Cold War was to sink a freighter in the middle of channel and that will close it. All ships that transit the Channel use a Turkish Pilot due to how twisty the Channel is. Also, the Russian Navy is no where near the level they were back in the 80’s.

JPJ got a part-time job and didn’t play the court intrigue games very well. The Tartars in Crimea fret.

Perhaps second only to the Gurkhas, depending on whom you ask.
