Obama shall leave behind a legacy of disaster. Small point: It's not really a "disaster" if it happens to be the outcome he always planned for.
Change your basic assumptions to "Obama is a hostile player who intends to inflict multiple manifest injuries on the People of the United States", and all his "missteps" resolve into a coherent policy.
