When I was trucking all over the country I was disgusted by all the ‘used’ toilet paper dropped in the corners of the stall. It was a phenomenon that just seemed to develop in the 1990s and got progressively more observable. One day I asked a truck stop manager what the deal was. He said that it was the immigrunts because back in their home countries there wasn’t proper sewage systems and the systems they did have couldn’t handle toilet paper without backing-up the entire town so they took to dumping their waste paper in the corners.

The truck stop attendants probably just loved that and then it dawned on me that the restroom attendants were about 90% illegal so I was tempted to start dropping my waste paper in the corner’s too.

So glad that chapter has closed for me.

Just like back home.

For many of these disenfranchised people, it is probably still better than back home.
