The investigators have chosen not to reveal these details and when you think about it, why should they? We have no right to know what these values are.
Then we cannot discount the possibility of enough fuel to fly to Antarctica or US. We have a lost plane without knowing how far it would go. I don’t see why that info should be withheld. Unless, like many other things no proper audit.

It can’t be like the “Final Countdown” because the NIMITZ returned to the same exact time that they left. So if this was the case, we would have never noticed it missing.
Gen McInerney basically said he has been told that the plane is in either Pakistan in Taliban controlled areas or Iran. I’m assuming this is from very credible sources as he doubled down on Fox news this morning. IMO what I got from him is that the US or whoever is trying give the Pakistan govt time to come clean and announce it so they can save face. I cannot believe McInerney would come out with this unless he knew.

Having the aircraft land in Pockey-stahn means it flew undetected over India that night. They’ll need to come up with their best bad excuse to explain away that small detail.
He says he does not know what the condition of the passengers is. He also says he is speculating as what the hijackers are planning to do with the plane. Maybe use it as a bomb to attack an air craft carrier or Israel.

I’m pretty sure the moon has been full and is beginning its waning stage, so perhaps that figures into any rescue operations if it’s known the plane is on-ground and intact?

You can bet after that if not before, Bush took the steps necessary to track a plane that was flying and sending out signals, which is probably why he said the govt knows where it is.

If in Pakistan (or any of the ‘stans) that means Indian air defenses are unprepared, which I would think makes them a high profile target for their unruly moslem neighbors.
