No I haven’t been back to the DC area recently. It’s gratifying to hear that Columbia Heights has turned around. But, equally frustrating to hear about areas such as Langley Park going downhill.

Yes, they did! I still have the recipe. Chopping 3 lbs. of onions almost did me in until my son (who was about 12 at the time) suggested that I wear a snorkeling mask while I chopped. Now food processers solve the problem.
