Let’s ask Bill Nye the Anus Guy if he has an explanation.

Another example of the peril from man made global climate change.

Yes and it was a cold winter too. Still the climate change drumbeat goes on because:

1) It's a chance to create new taxes and

2) It's a chance to introduce globalized intereference in sovereign US law. Part of the new world order.

I always ask this question when the MSM begins touting the panicky forecasts of a “potentially devastating” hurricane season every summer:

Have these guys EVER forecast a “below average” hurricane season?

Not to hijack things, but does anybody know the range of joules (or whatever the correct unit is) that the sun’s output varies, v. the same unit for the amount of energy stored and reflected by CO2.

Reasoning is, if the sun’s fluctuations of energy are greater, or far greater, than the energy CO2 forces into the atmosphere, it pretty much makes ‘global warming’ irrelevant.

For whatever reason I can never find any numbers.

The closest I’ve come to a hurricane myself was being in Galveston the day Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. The waves were humongous in Galveston and I ended up in a twister (spun off by the storm clouds) while I was inside the 61st Street Pier.

That pier got destroyed in the next hurricane to hit Galveston, but has been rebuilt, from what I hear.

But but global warming/climate change dictates this can’t be true.

Real conversation with the office lefty, about the cold weather:

Me - Lot of cold weather, huh?

Lib - Yep, its crazy.

Me - Still think we’re all going to fry to death?

Lib - Well this is still a lot of crazy weather. You have to admit we’ve had a lot of extremes lately because of global warming.

Me - A lot of extremes?

Lib - Absolutely.

Me - Like all the major hurricanes we’ve been getting?

Lib - Yeah.

Me - When was the last time you remember a hurricane making landfall...besides Sandy since it wasn’t really a hurricane.

Lib - A lot of hurricanes.

Me - Which one?

Lib - I don’t know. A lot.

Me - But you can’t remember the last one?

Lib - No.

You get the gist. He still doesn’t believe there haven’t been any major hurricanes...and it would be racist to Google it or something.

Warmers keep predicting more hurricanes as they are stuck on the mantra that "climate change" (whatever that means) produces worse, or more varying, weather.

They figure if they keep saying it, they can claim they were correct when it actually happens (like the record snow and cold this winter - except here in central Florida, where we had a very nice, mild winter!).

As to the mention of fewer hurricanes (instead of the more they keep predicting), Warmers will soon figure out how to spin this to show that they are still "correct" (and the "news" media will eat it up).

I want to know how many so-called meteorologists and climate scientists have jumped out of windows?

My teeth and right knee are better predictors of the weather than many of them are. I often get 36 hour warnings of things to come. And when my cats come in and put on their little coats and boots, I know that shit is about to hit the weather fan.

I wait for Joe Bastardi’s hurricane likely forecast as it is as close as they get for accuracy.

Star, it was Ike that took out the pier and much more in Galveston. When one comes into Galveston, it’s coming toward my house and I get my preps in order for power outage - will get an extra loaf of bread and two bags of ice and that’s all I need and I’ll get those before the mob hits the stores. Had no power for five days due to Ike but I was fine - had a portable TV that worked and my old land line phone that plugs directly in the wall worked.

But, wait! I’ve got a NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC from 2006 that says we will have bigger and badder hurricanes, because of GLO-BULL WARMING!

Now, Nat Geo would not LIE, now would they?
