A study released by the Gates Foundation is promoting a system that would track the careers of college graduates long after they receive their degrees, attacking the National Association for Independent Colleges and Universities for promoting laws that prevent up-close surveillance of students by the government.

I will give them the information for free. 6 years for a masters degree in Ethnic studies. Graduation. Collect welfare for 3 years while travelling Europe. Return to the hip college town from where you graduated sharing a 1 bedroom apartment with 4 people. Get job as barista at a Poetry Slam coffee house. Serve coffee. Complain about 1% keeping you down and stuck as a barista. Rinse and repeat.
Looks like they want common core forever. Not just k-12.

Vocational schools have been required to track occupational outcomes for years by federal law and meet certain standards for “positive placement” of graduates. The acceptable outcomes are a job in the trained field, a job in a related field, military enlistment, or higher education. This is ideally tracked for 3 - 5 years for reporting and continued funding.
