Authorities Wednesday were investigating allegations that a third-grade boy at a Riverside elementary school sexually assaulted another boy repeatedly since last year.
The alleged abuse took place five to seven times and began when the Adams Elementary School students were in second grade, said Jacquie Paul, spokeswoman for the Riverside Unified School District.
"One of the young boys apparently was coercing another young boy to perform sexual acts," she said.

Clinton legacy.
When I was in third grade I never even thought of such things, then again I had limited access to TV, even so at that time even sexual innuendo was so subtle on TV a child could not pick up on it.
I would question where this boy learned about these sex acts, which I think are references to oral sex. What normal 3rd grader would ever think of such things on his own????
The comments after the article are telling...in particular, those by Fern Serna..... Consensual???
Wow, no kidding:
Fern Serna:
“First off, the child should not have been charged. I’m pretty certain that if this happened for a period of time, this was consentual. Of course the other child has denied his collaboration, thereby prompting the charges.
Sex Play is very popular with children, it was in the 70’s when I grew up, and it was in the 40’s when my parents grew up too. There is nothing wrong with it, and it does not define orientation.
What this case shows is the immature method of school districts to..”
We chased each other around with (HORROR) squirt guns in 3rd grade, played stoplight and mother may I.
Sexual play common in 3rd grade?
Uh...I don’t think so...
Joe, that is a beautiful but sad image and perfect for the article!!
Thanks, love it, as I do all your wonderful graphics.
Same here. I seem to recall it was about the 8th-9th grade when most boys, to include myself, were even interested in any girl. I know it was early in the 9th grade when the captain of the cheerleaders invited me on a hayride. I was a co captain of the JR High football team, so; all we did was kiss. I guess things have changed with Obama’s Sec of Ed, as he was out to make little boys gays. It is pretty sad when a young boy cannot play cowboy and Indians, war, or any game where you even point your finger and say-” bang your dead.” This kid had a teacher at home or in school.
Um, Fern. I grew up in the 70’s too. No sex play in my elementary school.
I’m thinking Fern was molested.
Common Core! You bet!
WTF, 3rd graders having sex? California citizens, you must be so proud of this Liberal action.
What’s next? Same sex marriage for 4th graders?
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Liberals are idiots.
They completely fail to see the irony and hypocrisy of their position.
They advocate for teaching kids sex ed beginning in kindergarten and then are aghast when the kids actually start acting out what they've been exposed to.
They cannot keep the children's innocence and expose them to sexually provocative material at the same time.
They turn around and punish the kids for the very thing they're encouraged to do.
No wonder kids are growing up to be such messes.
Wonder how many times this “3rd grader” was held back. What’s his real age. Sick, sick, sick. I blame the idiot child parents.
I didn’t even know what a gay or lesbian was until high school. Making out with boys, not girls, was about all we did in the 70s. No one said the F word and if they did, we were horrified beyond belief.
...then again I had limited access to TV, even so at that time even sexual innuendo was so subtle on TV a child could not pick up on it.
(((
And I suspect that the school you attended was not pushing the pervert agenda.
Of course he was probably 16.
I was raised in the 70’s too. There was barely much sex play in high school.
In the '50s, we called it "playing doctor".
Then, it was curiosity about the differences between boys and girls - today, I'm afraid that particular innocence is not part of the picture.

The caring, nice, understanding, EducatorPerson is there to provide the ‘deeply caring support and understanding’ the student needs as a result of the curriculum. This situation is hardly an accident.
‘Tis a prevs wet dream, it is - and now it is part of the Pooblik Screwl Collective’s curriculum. Anyone remember the “School Safety Czar” and other such escapees from poorly guarded ‘rubber rooms’? They supported and enabled such warped trash in the classrooms.
Despite what the HillaBeast said, parents raise children best. One male parent and one female parent, that is.
OK, Rant off!
