The Hague (AFP) - An unrepentant Geert Wilders fought back Saturday against a storm of protest and an exodus from within his own anti-Muslim party after he vowed "fewer Moroccans" in the Netherlands.
The platinum-haired populist was forced to deny parallels with Nazi leaders after he was widely perceived as having gone too far in his attack on a specific ethnic group on Wednesday.
"I spoke the truth, I'm not sorry and will not apologise for the truth and expressing my political ideals," Wilders told an impromptu press conference on Saturday evening.

Wilders, himself, calls these “rightist groups” ... so that’s the way he views them - even if you see it differently.
He is also totally and fully against any violence or promoting altercations between groups - but says that everything that we do to deal with this issue is to be done lawfully and through the ballot box.

Yes I know that, but Wilder is doomed to failure if he does not understand the roots of fascism according to the Churchillian method of historical analysis, for Islamofascists comprise his vociferous opponents. Islamofascism and liberal fascists have united within the so called “modern state.” They must be jointly and severally defeated.Wilder does not know his history or even where he himself has evolved from.He will not succeed or prevail until this ignorance is remedied, for such disseminated knowledge is the only method by which he will gain lasting public support.
I would say he’s doing quite well and is very successful in the political realm. If you compare him, in his country — he’s doing better than ANYONE here in this country in regards to the issue of Islam, no matter WHAT the politicians in this country know about particular words or terms ... :-) ...
As a jew I don’t consider Buchanan an anti-semite. I consider him wrong on the facts nothing more.
Now, if he’s wrong in this particular instance what else has be been wrong about. I recall a stir that Buchanan made some years ago about the US and Japan and WWII. He was wrong on the facts then too.
It makes him stupid to get his facts wrong, just like Friedman is consistently factually wrong and it makes him stupid as well.
Don’t confuse stupid with hatred.
Be fair there are also plenty of Jews that don’t particularly care for Israel.
I’ve seen some Jews exercise a big does of self-hatred - for which I have no intention of psychoanalyzing - but it exists!
I’ve seen some Jews in Israel even go as far as showing support for Iran and meeting with Ahmadinejad (when he was leader). I’ve seen a certain segment of Jews not support the creation of the State of Israel (in 1948) and are against the continuation of Israel as a nation - today.
As I said - I don’t try to psychoanalyze them and figure out why they have such self-hatred and how they could be so wrong.
Fortunately the vast majority of Jews are not that way! But I do run into them from time to time.
I suppose they are anti-Semitic too. Just like the Arabs.
That is what I find odd. There are a great many jews who are Pali sympathizers too.
It is a fair assessment that there are a lot of jews in government positions of influence, and in the lobbying world as well. Buchanan’s joke (and yes it was a joke) about DC being Israeli-occupied terrotory has some basis in fact although it appears now that most of them are anti- israel
Buchanan is both smart and stupid at the same time. He makes crass jokes and says things than are not said in polite company. But he has some valuable insights sometimes and given his age now...I tend to give him a wide berth.
Wilders is a hero, one of the few the West has these days.
That’s what is so frustrating sometimes, he can be brilliant at times.

I wouldn’t call them anti-Semitic - but people who have severe psychological problems about their heritage, are embarrassed about it and seek to distance themselves from Jews who have to fight for their lives to protect the small haven they have in Israel.
I would call them TOTAL IDIOTS though. And as I said fortunately these idiots are only a very small segment.

I wish Wilders luck on his path. Wilders and Holland are victims of religio-fascism which has united with liberal fascist Dutch politicians. Until he can show that to his fellow countrymen, he will not be able to stay the course.
I guess I was referring more to my own country. Muslims state they want to kill us. Muslims like to kill. All muslims need to be in the Middle East killing each other.

Geert Wilders emphatically states that the MAJORITY of Muslims in the West are peaceful and law-abiding.
BUT perhaps you’re writing this from Iran or Pakistan - in which case I would fully understand what you’re talking about.
Perhaps some of us think we are on a different planet than Earth. The muslims on Earth have a reputation for bloodletting, maiming, and beheadings. Since they originated in the Middle East, perhaps they should go back to their homeland and practice their inherited bloodlust on each other?
Whenever someone makes a statement that says “all” (as in a group) or indicates so ... you can bet that the statement is wrong. By saying “Muslims” you’ve indicated “all” - and that’s clearly wrong from what I directly know.
Now ... Geert Wilders is the strongest spokesman against the violence and murder and mayhem of the Koran and those who use it for that purpose. You probably cannot find another political leader of his stature who spends so much time speaking out against Islam and these Islamic terrorists — and yet he fully well recognizes the fact that the majority of Muslims living in the West are perfectly peaceful and law-abiding.
What I know — for sure — is that if someone cannot see and recognize that not all Muslims are terrorists or support terrorists, that person does not have clear thinking capabilities and they should not be listened to, because they’ve already demonstrated their extreme lack of credibility right off the bat.
