WASHINGTON (AP) - Mitt Romney says President Barack Obama could have done more to persuade Russia not to annex Crimea.

Romney says Obama didn't have the foresight to anticipate Russia's intentions.

During the 2012 presidential race, Romney took criticism from Obama for saying Russia was America's "number one geopolitical foe" - not al-Qaida.

It must be really difficult for Barry to act upset about Russia’s illegal invasion of the Ukraine when in actuality as a communist himself he supports Putin’s expansion of communism 100%.

Putin is no Communist, he’s more of a Fascist Nationalist.

The 2012 Republican presidential nominee said Obama didn't have the foresight to anticipate Russia's moves and should have been working earlier with allies to make clear the penalties that Russia would face if it moved into Ukraine.

LOL. In other words there is nothing Romney could have done to prevent it either.

Romney cleaned up with Independents.

He not only lost to Jimmy Carter’s second term, he is the first candidate to win hugely with Independents, and lose the election.

Miss Romney yet? Think if some of you are able.

Typical Romney apologist/supporter. Insulting and condescending.

Not to mention dead WRONG.

Illogical emotional me (your original screen name is an oxymoron), I only wish I could "miss" Romney but the bastard keeps on rising from his coffin like a frikkin' vampire. Romney was bad news and destructive to conservatism in 2008, Romney was WORSE news and MORE destructive in 2012, and it is looking very much like he will be THE WORST and MOST DESTRUCTIVE news in 2016.

Take your own advice and think about it, please, if you are able, which I know you are.

If you really want to see conservatism make headway in America, ILlogical me, you will start CLAMORING for Romney to get the hell out of the Republican party.

Sadly, old Mitt fits in quite nicely with today's Republican Party, as does McConnell, Christie, McCain, and Ryan. Politicians like Cruz and Mike Lee are storming the GOPe ramparts.

It is an area of overlap for neocons and transnationals. Occupy Terra.

No way Romney runs again. Even the RINOs don’t have Mitt on their radar.

2007: NO WAY John McCain gets the nomination! Absolutely impossible, ridiculous!

2011: NO WAY Romney gets the nomination! Absolutely impossible, he's toast!

I am fully prepared, and am telling others to be prepared, for a Uniparty dilemma in 2016 very much like the Uniparty dilemma we faced in 2008 (except for fluke Palin, whom I voted FOR) and in 2012. The GOP nominee may or may not be Romney (though frankly, I think it will be), but regardless, it will be the GOPe's big-government leftist vs the Democrat's big-government leftist.

We had better start pondering and analyzing NOW the possibilities and opportunities that third party dynamics can bring to 2016 that ASSIST conservatism. Third party dynamics certainly aided conservatism both times Perot ran, even though Clinton won. Let's assess and learn from history.

And repeat until it finally sinks in: voting "against" is necessarily, by definition, mathematically AND materially one hundred percent illusion. Totally PRETEND.

The ONLY power any American has is to vote FOR. Deal with it.

"Cruz stop worrying about healthcare, and start pounding Obama about the real problems."

Look, I know you are on record here as saying you support Obamacare. Your delusions aside, that piece of unConstitutional legislation is, in itself, a destroyer of jobs....not to mention the agent that will wreck lives when people need medical care.

Socialized medicine, or the destruction of the best health system care in the world, is a huge issue. Why should we stop worrying about that?

Just saying.

I am a conservative, and I strongly advocate for American businesses.

But I think Obamacare has indeed served a purpose, in providing a neutral coverage. That is what I like, and support. Just that part, but I strongly do.

I do not use it, but if I lose my job I likely will, at least while I am searching for a new job.

Please remember, we are also meanwhile shipping jobs by the absolute ton, to communist China. So every day, America’s jobs become ever more hard to keep.

I strongly believe the GOP needs to support that fall-back plan, and needs to support that before they do anything else. And BRING BACK AMERICAN JOBS too.

My partial support for Obamacare however is an issue which puts me at odds with just about everyone else on this site, so I better wrap my comment and shut up now.

:D

The only way a conservative could say he supports Obamacare and American business in the same breath is if said “conservative” is insane.

Obama stole the election.

That he did. Most leftists -- Al Franken, Pelosi, Reid -- stole their offices. By all reasonable observations, almost 2 in 3 Americans rejects leftism and resents intrusive government. Maybe a little more than one in three is leftist. Well, that one third minority has seized control of government force (Geo. Washington said government is a force) by negating the legitimate votes of the other two thirds, the majority.

Obama's a symptom. The cause is a vulnerable franchise made that way by a force so blatant that it doesn't even require voter ID.
