An ongoing pattern. Identify supplements that have a proven value in promoting health, offer a flimsy “study” that claims the supplement has no value. Building up a collection of flim flam “research” that will be used by an easily corrupted politician to craft legislation banning supplements...because the government always knows best.
Yup. Big Pharma doesn’t want any competition, so now they are targeting the health benefits of foods themselves, not just supplements. I don’t take fish oil supplements, but I do eat three 3.75 oz cans of sardines in olive oil a week. I already have heart disease so it won’t protect me from that, but they still have other health benefits.
When we do a dietetic study, doesn’t what else is eaten, also matter? I doubt it’s just fish oil, it’s fish oil plus some other things (and/or minus some other things) which is the best.
Well.. If ya got to go.. I guess its back to cocaine , beer and loose women for me. (hope wifey doesn’t mind, the poodles really love fish oil too) ;-]
