Sharpton, Dems at Ohio rally welcome poll worker imprisoned for voter fraud

Ohio Democrats honored a disgraced Hamilton County poll worker, convicted of voting multiple times, at a Voter Bill of Rights rally Thursday.

Al Sharpton was the keynote speaker at an event to spearhead a campaign to get an amendment to the Ohio Constitution that would, among other things, allow for online voter registration. But the real guest of honor turned out to be Melowese Richardson, according to the Cincinnati Inquirer.

Inquirer reporter Sharon Coolidge tweeted:

In the 2012 presidential election, Richardson voted as many a six times in her fight “for Mr. Obama’s right to sit as president of the United States,” according to Cincinnati’s Channel 9.

Richardson acknowledged in November that she voted by absentee ballot and then again at a precinct because she was afraid her absentee ballot would not be counted, according to Cincinnati’s Channel 9.

She also said she sent in an absentee ballot for her granddaughter, who voted at the precinct. And three other registered voters at Richardson’s address sent in absentee ballots at the same time, all with similar handwriting.

She was brought up on the stage during the rally and hugged by Sharpton, apparently for her efforts to keep Obama in the White House.

The proposed Voter Rights amendment would provide, according to the Cincinnati Inquirer:

The amendment would allow online registration; maintain current identification options and expands them to include student identification; maintain the 35-day early voting period and forbid a ballot from being rejected due to poll worker error.

If the amendment passes, Ohio would no longer be a battleground state. It would be safely in the hands of the Democratic Party — especially if Richardson gets her old job back at the Hamilton County Board of Elections.

people being allowed to elect our own Senators

What makes you think "people" are electing those Senators?

In toss-up states, if a Republican accidently happens to get elected, some RAT-hack probably fell down on the job and will be taken to the woodshed.

I looked at your page and you are just old enough to be my grandson.

I went to school in the 1940s before they totaly corrupted the educational system in this country.

At your age you were taught a totally corrupted and warped pile of shit!

If this country ever becomes a democracy the country is totally gone.

Democracy is when there are 2 wolf’s and one sheep going to dinner, guess who got eaten for dinner.

We have a Constitutional Republic which protects the minority from the majority in a representative government not a winner take all system.

Late getting back and commenting...but it occurs to me here in Ohio that there must be something in between "direct democracy"/apportioned Electoral College votes, and "winner take all"?

In Ohio, we have a GOP governor and GOP majorities in both the State House and State Senate. We have 1 GOP and 1 Dem. US Senator. I don't know ratio between GOP and Dem. U.S. House Reps, but I'd guess GOP...

Despite that, Ohio went for Obama TWICE in the Presidential election...how does that happen?!

I know it's not as simple as the stunning "red-blue" maps of state districts, or a few POLL WORKERS (of all people!) personally voting six times...

But I surely hope to never again be as dishearted as I was watching state after state rack up in 2012 for Obama's 2nd term, by the slimmest of needed margins. He won every "fly-over" state that was considered to be in play, plus of course, all the "usual", as well as a few that should never have gone that way.

It's especially disheartening considering that the GOP has a significant majority of governors and state legislatures.

I don't see how this all adds up, and I have no solution to propose, but something doesn't seem right here, and it needs fixing, somehow. The enemy of my enemy might be a decent enough friend when push comes to shove, and I'm truly sick of this Administration's incompetence, their vision of a global "one world" order (tell that to Vlad), and their destructive race-baiting, women-baiting, and youth-baiting machinations to stay in power and enact their ideas for the "reformation" of America. Michelle Obama warned us back in '08, we should have listened more closely.

I guess that sums it up, LOL! / rant

Every State except Nebraska and Mane winner take all the electoral votes. You don't vote for President, you vote for a slate of Electors. Whichever slate wins in your State casts their vote for President.

Yes...but how is it that when it comes to the Presidential Electors, it ended up Democrat slate in so many states with GOP Governors and GOP U.S. and State House Reps/Senate? 2012 in particular, but really for the last decade or more - who will ever forget "Bush v. Gore" (or whatever it was called!)?

It's actually pretty close sometimes for Governor and U.S. Senate, too...a state-wide vote, not "gerrymandered" districts, and all the Democrat strongholds get their voters out (dead or alive) for the straight Dem. ticket in Presidential years.

It's just disturbing that the GOP/Tea Party/Libertarian/Conservatives can often make good gains in the mid-terms, but when it comes to the Presidential, there are these droves of people that come out (often with a lot of encouragement and assistance) for THAT, and whoever's up that year can get swept in...

I'm sure you know Harry Reid stole his re-election, I think it was just 2012...what to do? I am sincerely hoping he is about to become Minority Leader...it would be a start, anyway, and I just hope America survives this Administration.

Production-line voter fraud in the RAT-cities. They owned us.

That, coupled with low information "conservatives" who let Obama win by not voting against him.
