This caller doesn’t want to force his ideas on his daughter? Why not? If he believes he is right, why would he deprive her of his experience? He is a prime example of the permissiveness that Rush talked about earlier. I believe something to be true, I expect everyone to agree with me, including my children.
Many parents are taught to let their child form their own opinions. That way, the libtards can form their kids opinions with Conman Core.

I am in the same boat at 55, but no bites so far.
I remember my kids coming home from school lecturing us on recycling waste, aluminum, plastic, etc. This coming from kids would couldn’t master the task of keeping their rooms clean. I set them straight. Recycling becomes feasible only when it becomes profitable.

Why the Alarmists’ Climate Models Are Worthless
I got one of my biggest breaks (in my younger days) as the IT guy brought in to join up with the financial analysis guys. The two areas are a beautiful marriage. Finding ways to present the numbers the Finance people need, as well as giving them ways to massage that data to see trends is both challenging and rewarding. Oh, you will find those Finance guys, they are much cooler than you think.
One of the things that has helped me when asked that sort of question:
I am looking for a place that has enough challenge to keep me on my toes, and the long range security to provide me a place to settle down and be my “last” job.

Rush, technically Drudge and probably you are late to the party. Those estimated tax payments are a substitute for our withholding. Therefore, I paid a fraction of my penalty with the very first paycheck THIS YEAR. The 2015 return for us ALL is simply the accounting.
We file quarterly, I can’t believe Rush let this story go till the third hour.
