Would America Go to War with Russia?
The National Interest ^ | March 24, 2014 | James S. Robbins

Posted on 03/24/2014 11:31:47 AM PDT by Abakumov

Vice President Biden was in Warsaw last week to reassure our eastern NATO allies that they have the support of a “steadfast ally.” But if Russia moved against Poland or the Baltic States, would the United States really go to war? Or would we do nothing and effectively destroy the NATO alliance?

Would America Go to War with Russia?

Only if Vlad threatens muslims in Ukraine. Then Soebarkah's gloves are off!

“If someone who loved America made a list of the best possible commander-in-chief choices for a US-Russia war, Barack Hussein Obama would not be among the top five billion names on the list. Going to war against Russia is at best a terrible idea, and with current leadership unthinkable.”

You failed to recognize how it may be that Putin and Russia have already gone to war with the United States. The United States may already have only two available choices, surrender to the Russian aggressions or defend the United States and allies against the Russian aggressions.

By zer0 being such a Vapid sissy, he provokes those that would not ordinarily start trouble on the world stage knowing that a strong America would react.

By making America week, zer0 starts wars.

He would blame it on the right and start a war against the Tea Party.

Only after he got back from his $300,000,000.00 tax payers vacation and golf outing.

I can see obonzo starting one then saying we had to surrender and thus letting Russia come in and occupy us or let the UN run us to further his dream of destroying this country.

Whole damn place isn’t worth the blood of a single American PFC. Never was.

I wish that was a reason for not starting wars. Sadly, it is not. But, there are always plenty of armchair generals whose only military experience is MASH reruns thirsting to send our 18-25 year-olds to combat for....what, I'm not sure.

I believe that NATO (which is not directly dependent upon President Obama, and his frequent vicissitudes) would respond militarily to Russian aggression against any NATO country. To do otherwise would be. effectively, to guarantee the disollution of NATO. And I simply cannot imagine any war--including one that might make WWII seem like a stroll in the park, by comparison--that would amount to a worse outcome than the dissolution of NATO, in and of itself, would be...

The US and Russia should team up and clear out the islamoradicals that have invaded many countries. Unless Russia has its sights on taking over the personified West, let them be.

Nyet.

NATO? We can’t take on Russia militarily and we know it and they know it.

And the Europeans won’t make a move without us. NATO is simply a fig leaf to cover up Western impotence.

Crimea revealed that in spades.

We would go to war and within five minutes Zero would declare our unconditional surrender to the Russians.

Then he would board a plane and run for asylum in Yemen.

Blue Helmets....You got to be kidding....They don’t go where they can get shot at, unless they are protected by U.S. troops.

“I think at the very least we should review what happened in WWII and during the Napoleonic era first.”

A good post. And, both should be considered for sure - along with the Russian winter.

Dr. Strangelove, only goes to war when the Federal theft RICO racket, bailout fraud bank paper and so called “insurance” fraud paper, and the Exempt Ones are threatened.

In which case, the above will send everyone else to sacrifice, just like Extortion-Care.

Propaganda tools will be used, operandi as now, placing Lucifer sell-outs out front to whip up a war fever among the, by design, public school blank slate ritalins.
