Not everyone can be a teacher’s pet, but some students who think their instructor doesn’t like them are saying they’ve fabricated stories to get them fired.

KRIV-TV out of Houston recently conducted an investigation and found a disturbing number of YouTube videos with students describing what they’ve done to get teachers sacked.

“So, we’re going to tell you guys about how we got our first-grade teacher fired,” a young boy in a video posted to YouTube a year ago said.

“Wanna share the story?” he continued to his friend.

There is no punishment.
All of the anonymous reporting simply encourages deceit. It also rewards lieing because there are no consequences.
The parents are absentee and so, they raise feral yoots.
There is no guidance, nothing. Its all about getting what you want, using whatever means you wish.

Sounds like some kids need to be removed from public schools for the good of everybody.

What rotten little snots! Just for that, I hope they get to the 11th grade only to find someone like Rachael (Sue-My-Parents-for-Tuition) Canning is their Algebra and Geometry teacher. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire! It will take someone who can momentarily get into the mind set of a low life sneak, fluent in computer skills and belonging to the Cyber Bullying Hall of Fame to outdo them.

If I ever get stuck by kids like this, I’ll make a point of sticking it right back — to the parents. And it will hurt.

i know a family that just went through hell over a false accusation by a 5 year old girl - with the assistance of a really pissed off ex-wife.

Fortunately the cops saw it for what it was.

Multi generational teachers really made a difference. My teachers taught my parents and were part of the local community. They knew my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. They were fully invested.

One of my teachers attends our family reunions because after the death of his wife and daughter he has no one so we brought him in. These days he tutors my niece in math.

Oh, how cute!!! The kids are having so much fun with their new “power”. It reminds me of the Star Trek where the kids chanted and jerked their arms a bit, and poof! their nasty parents were gone. I still remember those days and I PROMISE YOU that I would have made some teachers “disappear” if we only had the power to back then. Thank God things were sane then.

Gotta JUST LOVE our child-centered culture.

I was paddled in school at least 5-6 times over my educational career, and no doubt I deserved it.

I know it’s not a popular opinion in this forum, but don’t you dare think of physically punishing MY child.

I’ll correct their behavoir if necessary.

I just don’t trust government employees dishing out punishment without knowing the entire story.

I am pretty certain that a nice big law suite against the parents would go a long way to curb these types of issues. At $50K X 25 Years of work life the compensatory damages would be $1.25 million. Add to that punitive damages of 2.5X’s to discourage this sort of thing in the future and a few million dollars for these parents to pay out for the rest of their lives should put these two idiots in good stead for ever. Then sue the school.

The teachers are afraid of the administrators and the kids aren’t afraid of anybody.

Ah, no. Decent kids have to fear other rotten kids, when these rotten kids learn to instill fear in parents, teachers and administrators as well. If we have lowered the voting age, we also need to lower the age of treatment as an adult vis-a-vis criminal responsibility.

Bullying needs to have a reform school tag when proven.

That happened to me. Some time ago, one of my classes got the principal to come in their classroom when I wasn’t there to complain about me, because I was pretty strict, which I don’t think they were used to. They finally played the race card on me and luckily, one young lady, pretty much the class leader, stood up and defended me and said “Ya’ll know she ain’t no racist!” and the sentiment started going my way with the rest of the class, and finally these boys admitted it wasn’t true. I have noticed that most kids have a sense of fairness, and I am grateful I had some pretty good kids in that class. But when they’re bad - watch out!

The ‘parents’ consist of a single mom on welfare. Good luck getting paid for any judgement.

Seems there is a case to sue the parents and the school system.

Doesn’t matter. A judgment and time spent with even a free lawyer is crappy time.

The school most certainly will pay.

I didn't. My post clearly indicated the onus is on the parents.
