““Voters, ask yourself ‘Would you want to re-elect a foulmouthed anti-constitutional, Second-Amendment-hating senator?’””

The libs will love him for his aggression. The foul language only strengthens his position in the minds of the libs.

A guy who hates guns and hates our 2nd Amendment is PROTECTED by men who have guns 24/7..take away his armed security let’s see how he enjoys life then

I very much doubt that a state senator has 24 hour armed protection.

In Ohio at least state senators are paid about $75K per year so they are not going to hire a personal guard.

If they hire a personal guard on their staff they will give up a legislative assistant. I don’t think too many would think it a good trade.

I am thinking that the camera man is a personal assistant that carries a camera. Of course his personal assistant might also get a CCW. The guy behind him looks rather ex-military.

It changed when TVs went color and assigned colors to the election map. Which is a while ago. Even when I was growing up in the 80’s both the GOP and Commies were red.

Just for the record, the assignment of colors isn't so crazy conspiracy:

" Although presidents Cleveland and Harrison used blue maps to represent the Republican Party in the late 1800s and Texas used similar color-coding to assist its Spanish-speaking and illiterate citizens during that same time period, neither the Republican nor the Democratic Party has ever officially chosen a color to represent its organization. With the advent of color technology, television networks created their own identifying colors, often alternating with each new election to avoid any appearance of favoritism. However, in 2000 for the first time, all the major news outlets agreed to use red for the Republican Party and blue for the Democratic Party."

So, no, blue wasn't ever the officially recognized GOP color.

Source.

There are glaciers in Alaska bigger than that rotten turd’s corrupt little fiefdom. I like his sexual suspect goon chiming in there, too.

Repeated from another thread:

We need to do as the National Commie left does in these situations – got to each and every Dem and demand they denounce that ‘hate speech’ of his, and if they don’t it, announce that said Dems are complicate in that act.

It’s time to fight fire with fire.

However, in 2000 for the first time, all the major news outlets agreed to use red for the Republican Party and blue for the Democratic Party.

So you could say they ‘conspired’ to assign the colors as they did.

Thank you for proving my point.

So, no, blue wasn't ever the officially recognized GOP color.

I only tangentially mentioned that – my point is that Red has always been the traditional color of Communism.

The Move ‘Reds’ about the Bolshevik revolution.

The Move ‘Red Dawn’ about an attack by the Communists.

Not to mention that the Chinese communist flag, the flag of the defunct USSR and a certain Socialist Worker’s Party in Germany during the 1930’s – 1940’s…

Red used to mean Commie until the year 2000.

Not so.

From usflag.org:

Charles Thompson (November 29, 1729 – August 16, 1824), Secretary of the Continental Congress, reporting to Congress on the Seal, stated:
The colors of the pales (the vertical stripes) are those used in the flag of the United States of America; White signifies purity and innocence, Red, hardiness & valour, and Blue, the color of the Chief (the broad band above the stripes) signifies vigilance, perseverance & justice.

These insects regularly sneer at the portion of the population that is already armed and well practiced in the use of those weapons. It’s not hard to imagine an ending to this dispute the insects won’t enjoy.

That’s in the context of a multi colored flag.

To bolster my point – take a look at all the cultural references to Red meaning Commie.

Why was China know as Red China?
