Virginia Republicans are attempting to maintain some fiscal sanity here in the Old Dominion. Let's hope it gets some traction!

As long as we people of Virginia stand by and let voter cheating continue, we will be paying for socialism with more and more debt.

PLEASE call each VA Delegate and tell them you appreciate their strong stand against Medicare expansion. A little appreciation goes a long way

Voter cheating is not the primary problem. The demographics of Virginia are rapidly changing. For example, in 1990 15% of the population of Fairfax County was foreign born; today it is 30%. 20% of the voters in the state are black. Demography is destiny.

Yeah, there was an article about an ABC affiliate (IIRC) in Florida checking voters to see if they were legal. They figure 5,300 voters in Florida voted illegally in the last election. Probably much worse in states like TX, AZ, and CA.

McAuliffe promised that if we allowed a 2-year pilot program of the Medicaid expansion and if it didn’t “work”, he would take personal responsibility for it. When I heard that on the radio, I laughed out loud. Others looked at me like I was a crazy person. Wherever I go, I’m outnumbered by liberals. Yes, Virginia is changing.

And with McA having the mouthpiece, we are in for it. As long as there is one sympathetic person who needs something, he will justify every bloated, big-government program and proclaim war against anyone who opposes it.

If we fold on Medicaid expansion, McA will own Virginia. His machine will roll all over us.

What happens is McAwful takes a page from the Obozo play book, shuts the govt down, blames the feckless pubs and gets everything he wants...
Hold fast, House of Delegates or you will rue the day...

The Dems have been running ads saying it will SAVE Virginia money because we get to use the federal funding Obama is withholding because we wont agree to be on the financial hook for another 4 million Medicaid recipients.
It’s just another street side shell game ploy. Sadly, this newspaper is their biggest cheerleader.

They have a slender majority in the Senate. Would only need a couple votes peeled away. It seems the House has a firm majority (hopefully) on this issue.

You’re welcome. I mix them up myself on occasion. Damn LBJ for having two programs with almost the same name.

Wherever I go, I’m outnumbered by liberals. Yes, Virginia is changing.

it is happening everywhere... and yes--much of the blame can be put on those who live off of welfare, and those who depend on government handouts...

however, Christians and Conservatives who send their children to government school for 6-7 hours a day, 5 days a week, over a span of 13 years, are contributing to the growth of liberalism...

ONE vote in the senate; and we lost that vote by under 100 votes in a special election.

I understood the senate was 50/50 pubs to demonrats w/ Red Herring being the deciding vote...if, on this issue, we have some rats voting in a rational manner for once, yay for our side.
We’ll see.....
