One of the nation's leading Democratic pollsters and strategists is urging embattled House and Senate incumbents to abandon their defense of Obamacare and instead pledge to “fix it.”
Celinda Lake, whose firm Lake Research Partners provided the Democratic analysis of the new George Washington University Battleground Poll released Tuesday morning, summed up her advice to Democrats when it comes to Obamacare: “Don't defend it.”

Here in Florida Alex Sink ran on the ‘mend it - don’t end it’ crap about Obamacare. She lost. When you get right down to it, would YOU trust someone who supported that horror to mend it? Not me. Not most of us.

This Celinda Lake moron says democrats neet to tell us they won’t leave us at the mercy of the insurance companies. Can she explain why democrats use the force of federal law to mandate we purchase insurance through an insurance company?
Reminds me of that old saying “the Emperor has no clothes”. All the Dem pols now are walking around naked! And, the only way they are going to find their clothes is to come COMPLETELY CLEAN. This means:
1. CONFESS Obamacare was fraudulently passed by ONLY democrats who NEVER read it
2. Call for its TOTAL REPEAL
3. Pledge to replace it with a law that is no more than 20 pages long and that is agreed to before it passed by doctors and patients and private insurance companies with NO involvement by government.
Absent a complete mea culpa on O care, the democrats will never find credibility with the non Marxist American people.
Don’t forget. The Dems’ goal is to replace ObamaCare with single payer. That’s the goal line for them. When they claim they want to fix it, ask them “with single payer?” and watch them backpedal.

I wholeheartedly disagree. This is a two-step process, with step one being the most important - 2014. If the Republicans capitalize on Obamacare and increase their numbers in the House (meaning in 2016 there would be no way to lose the House) and take over the Senate, the Republicans will control the dialogue over the remaining two lame duck years of Obama's presidency. That is HUGE! Bills in the House will be brought to the floor of the Senate.
Limiting what Obama can do in his last two years is also pivotal to precluding a Hillary presidency. They will have two years to put the dossier together on Lybia, Russia, Egypt, Syria and other failed foreign policy efforts - she owns them.
Call it ‘shoved down our throats by only Democrats’.
Democrats were so proud of Obamacare they didn't need to 'read' it. Democrats have emotions and egos that are MUCH bigger than their rather small brains... which is why they use the term "feel" rather than "think". They FEEL... FEEL... FEEL.. and they're sooooo proud of it.
Same with global warming... Democrats who couldn't pass high school algebra FEEL what Al Gore says is true...
Your suggestions are goo Cen-Tejas, but if democrats were smart enough to take your advice they wouldn't have passed Obamacare (without reading it or thinking about it) in the first place. And if they DID take your advice it would be because someone told them it would help them win - not because they understood the ethics or thought behind it...
