One of the nation's leading Democratic pollsters and strategists is urging embattled House and Senate incumbents to abandon their defense of Obamacare and instead pledge to fix it.
Celinda Lake, whose firm Lake Research Partners provided the Democratic analysis of the new George Washington University Battleground Poll released Tuesday morning, summed up her advice to Democrats when it comes to Obamacare: Don't defend it.

Be serious.
It takes 291 votes in the House and 67 votes in the Senate (before January 20, 2017, God willing).
Mend it don't end it.
Repeal and Replace.
We can do better.
People like the No Cap, Pre-existing Conditions, and the children until 26 provision, yada, yada, yada.
Where are you getting "67" from? Obamacare isn't a constitutional amendment. It was passed by a simple majority in both houses, and a bill to repeal it needs a simple majority in both houses to pass as well.
True, but you know as well as I do it'll take 67 in the Senate to override the Kenyan's veto pen.

So you don’t know the Constitution empowers a President to veto legislation which passed both houses of Congress, and that it takes a 2/3 majority to override the veto?
Article I., Section 7.
Yes, I’m aware a President has the power to veto a bill.
I’m also aware there is NO ‘Obamacare Repeal Bill’ on Obama’s desk, while there would be one there if only a handful of Dems voted with the Republicans for repeal. If Obama THEN stopped repeal, he’d have even MORE backlash.
All it takes is a simple majority to do that, but the “moderate” Dems continue to stand by this marxist legislation. If they claim it was “flawed from the beginning”, they should be urged to put up or shut up.
STOP!.. Therein lies the problem.
