” middle-class issues like raising the minimum wage, addressing college affordability, achieving paycheck parity between men and women and rebuilding infrastructure”
i’ll tell you what, if you really think about those issues, they fall more on the Marxist side than in any free market, middle class benefit side.

ObamaCare, if you do a poll of anyone, thats dropped way down in significance, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said.

Quote: “Schumer told reporters after the press conference that the voters would be driven more by economic issues than the GOPs criticism of healthcare reform.”
Right, because it is only Republicans who have a problem with healthcare reform. Because the democrats have just been so knock it out of the park on the economy. These “press conferences” are no more than a publicly held meeting wherein the democrats give the MSM its marching orders and talking points.

voters care more about middle-class issues like raising the minimum wage, addressing college affordability, achieving paycheck parity between men and women and rebuilding infrastructure
Yes I do care about the minimum wage, raising it is bad idea, and college affordability, stop subsidizing universities with low interest collage loans and the price will come down, paycheck parity, we have it already and should keep it, and rebuilding infrastructure, roads and bridges yes, solar farms and wind mills no.

Obamacare = square peg + round hole.

The chatter in the lunchroom was about health care premiums, fear of losing coverage, and hidden extra costs (like CPAP machine facepieces now costing 325), not “minimum wage” or “income inequality”.
Perhaps the dems are talking to a different demographic than “people with full time jobs”.

Senate Democratic leaders on Wednesday said the media is exaggerating public concern about ObamaCare and insisted they aren't worried the law will cost them their majority. FANTASTIC!!!
Please, please, please keep up this attitude until November.

I can somehow visualize these Dems sitting around in a conference room, writing specious lies on a chalk board, then voting among themselves on the ones each will tell.
.
The once-great Democratic Party has fallen this far.

“Senate Democratic leaders on Wednesday said the media is exaggerating public concern about ObamaCare and insisted they aren’t worried the law will cost them their majority.”
Please, please, please keep on thinking that (if you really believe it, which I doubt). At any rate, I highly recommend the Democrats spend most their precious propaganda bandwidth touting the wonderfulness of their votes and continued support for obamacare.

They’re stuck on the first stage of grief. They’ll never heal, emotionally, until they get past denial and move on through anger, bargaining, depression, and finally acceptance.
