WASHINGTON (AP) — The head of the Internal Revenue Service told House Republicans on Wednesday that it would take years to provide all the documents they have subpoenaed in their probe of how the agency handled tea party groups' applications for tax-exempt status.

The comments by IRS chief John Koskinen drew a frosty response from Republicans who run the House Government Oversight and Reform Committee, one of several congressional panels investigating the controversy. The panel's chairman, Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., warned him he should comply with the request "or potentially be held in contempt" of Congress, a sometimes threatened but seldom-used authority.

The government agencies, Justice, IRS, EPA, Homeland Security, are behaving like they are members of a one party system in this country, as they harass and terrorize citizens targeted by the Democrats.

That’s because that’s what they ARE!

How about $0 in their next budget...That should give EVERYONE at the IRS *PLENTY* of time to find and submit said documentation...

I call BS on this unless they’re all shredded or deleted, then they won’t be found. But no way should it take years.

I am so sick of these federal bureaucrats. They work for you and me. They should all be fired with no pensions,

LOL! IRS head Koskinen already cleaned up at Freddie Mac to the tune of a half a million a year.

What does he care about a piddling .gov pension? He probably VOLUNTEERED to be a spear-catcher for Obama.

Koskinen is right about on thing, I would take years to wash, rinse and otherwise sanitize those emails.
