U.S. jobs market dropouts increasingly likely to stay out

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A growing number of Americans quitting the labor force are likely gone for good, offering a cautionary note to the Federal Reserve as it tries to gauge how tight the jobs market is and how quickly to raise interest rates.

For a long time, data suggested a significant portion of the decrease in labor force participation was because many job seekers had grown frustrated with their search and had given up looking. If the job market tightened enough, the thinking went, these Americans would be lured back to hunt for work again.

This is where Republican are absolutely tone deaf IMO. It is horrible out there and they act like people simply are on UI to ride it out. When Extended UI stopped, most people are NOT finding work. Jobs aren't created out of thin air.

Amnesty in this economy is like having a lung cancer patient smoke 2 packs a day.

You got your Obamaphone, and your Obamacare, and your Obama food stamps...

What the hell you want with a job?

People who have obamaphones and on food stamps are likely NOT on UI.

The majority of recipients of the Obama raid on the US Treasury are disproportionately the confirmed and captive Democrat voters already, as this makes up a reliable core of voters, most of whom may be depended upon to actively resist attempts to reduce and control voter fraud and abuse of welfare programs. Basically many of them are unemployable, because of lack of even minimal skills in language, simple tasks, or even civility.

Now for the growing number for whom there are simply no positions being created, due to the failure to grow productivity of potential employers, this blame may be placed squarely on those pervasive forces within various levels of government, local, state and Federal, that inhibit growth and expansion through taxation or excessive regulation. Strangulation that either prevents expansion, or stops an enterprise from being established in the first place, deforms and twists the operation of a fair and open market place, and results in either operating as a “criminal” enterprise, or resorting to devious practices, while not illegal, certainly do not support any “rule of law”.

There is a way to take the brakes off the American economy, and it lies in a two-fold strategy - first, relieve the regulatory burden on enterprises that provide a legitimate array of goods and services to fellow Americans, and second, make the problem of collecting taxes much more fair and equitable than it now is.

Simple, but as difficult to achieve as once again returning men to the surfaced of the moon, and returning them to earth alive. Nobody has the gumption to even attempt any more.

Bingo! we have a Winner. It is Time to DownSize DC! Close entire Rogue/Unconstitutional Departments, forever. And move the center of gravity of the Fed Gov away from the Swamp.

A percentage of those out of work are likely going to migrate to care for their older parents, for what amounts to room and board, and maybe a stipend. This means they are not just out of the job market, but pretty much unable to marry and start a family.

After 10 or more years of that, and they are out for good, destined to remain bachelors and old maids.

This is extremely bad, because even if they are not top tier contributors to society, they are “second tier”, without whom the economy is crippled. Deprived of their labor, the first tier don’t remain first tier.

Or if they are lucky to find a job, many will have to take a 2nd, because of reduced hours. This will mean things are put off permanently such as travel to remote areas of the world. Glad I was able to travel much of the world because I am not sure how much I will be doing in the coming years because of this crappy economy.

Pleases you just assumed you would be back to may be out of reach. Glad I did it while I could. Many will not have those memories.
