I met Dr. Greg Brannon four years ago and am excited at the prospect of him being our next U.S. senator in the great state of North Carolina. Dr. Brannon has delivered approximately nine thousand babies; read that again it’s not a typo. He is the most ardent pro-life candidate in our state. He has literally been a leader in many state pro-life organizations while running a busy OBGYN practices in Cary, North Carolina.

Dr. Brannon has 7 children, including 3 he and his wife adopted from China. He was born to a single mother who was loved this country and voted for Barry Goldwater in her first election. Despite not having a father in his life Greg grew up to be a man of success and integrity. Greg’s wife was a school teacher and now home schools their children.

Greg Brannon is also the only Constitutionalist in the US Senate Race and he is not afraid to express this as his view of how the government should be governed. Second only to life itself he believes human liberty is the most important God given right we all possess. Greg also believes that property being the basis for the pursuit of happiness is the third right we possess.

The Constitution should not need to be defended, because all House and Senate members SHOULD obey it.

That said, I'm glad he's going to defend it.

Funny. I thought ALL members of the Senate, the House and all Federal officers were sworn to support The Constitution - against all enemies foreign and domestic. When did compliance with this become optional?

Sometimes the semantical nitpicking gets tiresome. I knew what he meant.

At first look, he appears to support DOMA.

“Unfortunately, the Obama Administration has acquiesced and has stopped enforcing the Defense of Marriage Act.

The Defense of Marriage Act was enacted in 1996 to stop Big Government in Washington from redefining marriage and pushing its new definition on the States. The Defense of Marriage Act prevents places like San Francisco and New York City from imposing their ideas about marriage on North Carolina.”

I haven’t looked into the second one. On the first one, Brannon is appealing. The trial appears to be a staged set-up, the judge seems to have forced the jury in his instructions to find as they did, the jury found Brannon’s partner not-guilty on the same charge.

On Glenn Beck, Brannon addressed this and said that a lot will come out when it’s all over.

I think it was a convenient set up by the establishment or Rove to take down our guy and promote their guy. The trial appeared at the very moment that Brannon tied or exceeded Tillis against Hagan. Mike Lee endorsed Brannon AFTER the jury verdict. The judge is being looked into. I think there’s more on this that we’ll find out.

Isn't it sad that this has become a campaigning point?

I heard he madea crazy statement about being anti-vaccination. If so that will get him creamed by Hagan.

I’m with him if he is against unnecessary vaccinations. Children need to develop immunity that they only get from surviving the illnesses. I had every childhood disease going on. From about 12 years on I’ve never had any major sickness. I’m 80 and still healthy. My children had all the shots and they are always sickly.
