White House looks to regulate cow flatulence as part of climate agenda
The Daily Caller ^ | March 28,2014 | MICHAEL BASTASCH

As part of its plan to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, the Obama administration is targeting the dairy industry to reduce methane emissions in their operations.

This comes despite falling methane emission levels across the economy since 1990.

The White House has proposed cutting methane emissions from the dairy industry by 25 percent by 2020. Although U.S. agriculture only accounts for about 9 percent of the country’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, it makes up a sizeableportion of methane emissions — which is a very potent greenhouse gas.

Some of these methane emissions come from cow flatulence, exhaling and belching — other livestock animals release methane as well.

“Cows emit a massive amount of methane through belching, with a lesser amount through flatulence,” according to How Stuff Works. “Statistics vary regarding how much methane the average dairy cow expels. Some experts say 100 liters to 200 liters a day… while others say it’s up to 500 liters… a day. In any case, that’s a lot of methane, an amount comparable to the pollution produced by a car in a day.”

You missed another place that needs duct tape.

Hope it is DUCK DYNASTY TAPE. That would be real justice.

America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi!

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

I have a better idea. Why don’t they all just shut the heck up and reduce their CO2 emissions?

We know according to them they don’t crap or it doesn’t smell.

Does this mean that we will send drones to India to kill all the sacred cows that wander all over because of religious beliefs.

We can laugh about this till the cows come home (HAH!), but once it's a regulation or law, we're stuck with it until we decide to run these asshats out of town.

So, it's going to simply make beef prices go through the roof even more than they already have. Hard to laugh at that, IMO.

“Ban cows, ban beef. We’ll see it in our lifetime.”

I have met some scary militant vegans.
Give them a little power and watch out!
Their numbers are not very large, but their influence is disproportional and growing.

The Founding States had made the 10th Amendment to clarify that the Constitution’s silence about things like climate issues means that the states, and only the states, have the government power to address such issues.

To the WH and the leftist, there is no such thing as Mother Nature. For some idiotic reason they think they can control everything that goes on on the planet. They want badly to control the planet, but God has other plans.

Given Bath House Barry’s proclivities, one must cringe when contemplating Barry’s choice of ‘cow cork’.
