If I were a supporter of the Confederate flag I think I would object to some Yankee kid flying the flag with the word ‘redneck’ painted on it. Kind of reinforces some negative stereotypes if you ask me.
Well, I would certainly object to it. But I wouldn’t demand he forfeit his first amendment right to be a stupid Yankee.
The first amendment doesn't say "except for people with bad taste, poor judgement, or ideas that liberals don't like."
Anyway - it is mostly uninformed yankees, liberal elites and race pimps who consider "redneck" to be a prejorative term.
I don’t like the flag in the story either. It’s like having a US flag with Obastard’s picture across the front of it.
