Well,...I’m certain that these weren’t “Palin Supporters”.

They take Alaska back and I’m suing them for 15 thousand years of racist oppression. Reparations, baby.

Did they know what they were signing?
Did they get something in return for signing?
Was it promoted by the wh somehow?
Do they even live in Alaska?

Obama will be gone soon enough, and if you don’t like the way things are going in DC, elect better people.

This from the State that elected Lisa Murkowski as a write-in.

They can take their Republicans with them and keep them.

Oh I just assume most thought it was funny. It certainly is neither serious nor to be taken seriously.

That's no surprise. It's in style for all stripes of debt/revenue-sucking, political/regulator folks.

There’s a word I would have added in front of ‘idiots’, but otherwise, ITA.

Actually, if Alaska wants to go back to Russia, it would save the US taxpayers money. Alaska takes more in Federal funds per person than most any other state.

“Some states, including Alaska and Virginia, received more than $15,000 per person from the federal government, even after subtracting the billions the state spent on income tax. This figure is nearly two-and-a-half times the amount received per person after taxes in states like Nevada, one of the poorest states in the country.”

That's what the citizens of Minnesota were thinking when they elected Jesse Ventura and Al Franken to powerful positions.

You aren't supposed to take this literally. They're making a point. The federal government isn't exactly popular in Alaska — because it's the major land owner, and it interferes a lot in local affairs. (At least that's the impression I got from visits while living near Alaska for decades.)

You don’t HAVE to reside in Alaska to sign the petition. Anyone can sign. I wish California would think about it. I’d sign just to get rid of them.

Exactly. I’ll bet half of those signing are Russian teenagers in their parent’s basements... OR KGB agents working in Putin’s basements.
