Snowden’s treachery is especially grave because he exposed how all the parts fit together—the blueprints for how America’s most significant intelligence enterprise actually works—which is also the blueprint for how to defeat it,” she said.
“So what does this mean in real terms? It means that the president may not have the intelligence he needs to have for crucial decisions. Nor will the Congress. We may not see threats we should have seen, never mind opportunities. It means that there may be future attacks that we do not see coming, which otherwise might have been prevented,” Van Cleav said in an email.

I have always considered Gertz as a good source of information, but NSA is a joke, although a very very bad joke.
They did not foresee the Boston bombing.
They have no information that helps solve the flight 370 question, they had no idea Putin was going to make a move on Crimea.........on and on.

The NSA’s mission is the same as that of the IRS-destroy dissent inside of America. Remember Obama’s campaign promise to “get revenge” and “punish his enemies”?
I don't know what Snowden's intent was, but in this day and age, there's a twisted solace in knowing that someone exposed a blueprint for defeating "America’s most significant intelligence enterprise".
I am offended that I should even think this way.
I blame Snowden for treason.
