Just when Mary was mastering not over-cooking (burning) steaks on our grill at home in Florida, duty called us back on the road, with our Conservative Campaign Committee team traveling to freezing Minnesota to defeat Al Franken.
My charcoal-grill-master-in-training awesome wife hates cold weather. Nevertheless, she is willing to brave bone-chilling temperatures and snow to fire Franken!
Not only is Franken responsible for causing pain and suffering to millions of Americans by providing the 60th vote that enacted ObamaCare, but Franken also threw Minnesotans under the Obama bus in the process.
Unique to Minnesota, they already had a program (MinnesotaCare) that provided affordable and accessible health care on a sliding-scale-premium basis, without mandates for anyone else. As a result of MinnCare, Minnesota had the third-highest rate of insurance coverage in the nation, accomplishing a great thing on a state level. Thus, no federal intervention/program was needed.
Franken sold out Minnesotans to implement Obama's unprecedented tyrannical power-grab, further proving himself to be a loyal servant of Obama rather than a representative of his constituents. Franken repeated and promoted Obama's lie: If you like your health care plan you can keep it.
Rather than repeating liberal Democrat incumbent Franken's long list of offenses, I wish to focus on our solution. I am extremely excited and proud to announce that Conservative Campaign Committee endorses Conservative Republican State Senator Julianne Ortman for U.S. Senate in Minnesota.

I believe that Julianne Ortman would be the best GOP nominee, because she meets the Buckley test: she’s the most conservative candidate who could defeat Al Franken. Chris Dahlberg is probably marginally better on issues important to conservatives, but he’s running behind in the Republican polls and is completely unknown in the Twin Cities. Mike McFadden and Jim Abeler are RINOS and Monte Moreno hasn’t quite mastered his standard stump speech. Sarah Palin endorsed Ortman just last week.
And they will reelect the bum.
With the possible exception of Udall in NM, I think there’s an outside chance that all of the Obama wave democrats may be thrown out of office six years after they were swept in.
Udall, CO
Shaheen, NH
Warner, VA
Franken, MN
Begich, AK
Merkley, OR
Hagen, NC
He had to cheat to get in. I think he's toast this cycle.
“What’s that you got?”
“It’s an Al Franken doll.”
“By golly, it looks just like him.”
“Yeah, but you can’t take it in a convertible with the top down.”
“Why’s that?”
“The wind blows through his ears and he makes a screeching sound.”
“Oh.....just like the real one.”
Warner’s safe. Over 10 points ahead
I bet they’ll reelect the clown.
IIRC,McFadden has raised 6 times the money she has and he’s still nowhere near Weird Al’s totals.
Bump
And Franken would use that money to tar McFadden as a one percenter, just like they did with Romney. They couldn’t do that with Ortman. And because she’s a woman they couldn’t go as nasty and as negative on her as they could on McFadden.
Look what the left did to Palin.
Bfl
Franken will win by at least 7 points. Ortman is meh.
Yes, but I think the situation’s different here. Ortman was a leader in the Senate where she learned to dish it out as bad as she got it. Also, she has a law degree from an Ivy League university. This can insulate her from being called a hick for her beliefs on guns and abortion.
She was great in the MPPA debate. She’s an A+ on gun rights.
I'm in regular contact with the Abler campaign and Jim refused to pledge himself against raising taxes, which I take as a promise to raise taxes which he has certainly done before.
I think it bodes poorly for him, probably deservedly.
She's okay...and perhaps the best choice...but she's not enough to beat Franken's name recognition. The GOP in this state is dead.
