Former U.S. Sen. Bob Kerrey is speaking his mind about the president, telling London's Daily Mail that President Barack Obama suffers from “self-delusion” and that he only won in 2012 because he “sucked less than Romney.”
Kerrey went on to rap Obama for his oft-repeated health care promise that under Obamacare, Americans could keep insurance plans they liked.
“He had to know he was misleading the audience,” the former Nebraska governor told the British newspaper last week.
Kerrey also said that 2009 was the wrong time to attempt a health care reform, as the nation was just starting to recover from a deep recession. When it became clear the president was determined, however, it was a political mistake to give up on the public option of his health care plan, Kerrey said.

I think the same could be said, that Kerrey sucked less than...someone. Maybe Debra Winger?
After having his ass handed to him in the Senatorial race, he packed up his carpetbag and hasn’t been seen in Nebraska since. And good riddance.
Zell Miller type Democrats are rare these days. I’m not saying Kerry is the new Miller but its refreshing to see a Democrat not parrot the party line like a zombie.

He’s been out of politics for over a decade, so he can say what he likes. His wikipedia page even lists him as an agnostic.

Romney did suck. A lot. But more than Obama? Not sure. Closet socialist Keynesian versus openly socialist Keynesian.
I wouldn’t mind seeing him run against Clinton. He would throw a monkey wrench into the primaries, and the mediots would lap up his faux east coast elitist stature. It would split the party and force Clinton to spend more money and energy before the general election.
second thought....he’d be the only candidate who openly criticized 0bama...that would get him a lot of press attention.
Either that or he is truly out of politics so he can express an honest opinion.

No. I think you're wrong. He's just disgusted with Obama's dishonesty -- not, necessarily, with his policies but his lying about them. Kerrey is not a dishonest man.
