lol the flying car is the helicopter!

The only invention which has realistically improved my life over 40 years is the cell phone. Flat panel TV? No big deal. Only marginally better than tube TV. I enjoyed watching superbowl I just as much as today. The cell phone gives me real time mobility and safety to keep in touch with family and friends.

Ever see one driving down the road? Do all your neighbors have one? They already had helicopters back when they were going on about the flying car.

cell phone

Yes, and just like the over-engineered, digitized cars, the "innovators" don't know when to quit. Now every moron between 10 and 30 can be seen, sitting hunched over, walking into poles, or driving-to-endanger, while staring slack jawed at some texting screen, thumbs flailing away, oblivious to the world around them.

They are reduced to below the level of the legendary "100 chimpanzees with typewriters"...dimwits blessed with a technology that is way above their comprehension to repair or create. And additionally, they can't write or spell.

The text-heads are too stupid to realize that there is a superior form of communication.

It's called "speech".

What about the computer you’re sitting in front of? The internet it’s connected to? Portable entertainment systems of an exceedingly wide variety? GPS? Not to mention the improvements, everything in your kitchen takes less energy to do its job, and requires less space for better insulation if applicable. Your car has more comfortable seats with a better dash display more fuel efficiency and a quieter engine and ride.

I think a lot of things have improved your life in ways you just don’t think about.
