unemployment is not at 6.7, or even double that, it is at 20%

The employment numbers are just as phony as the Obamacare enrollment numbers, and for much the same reasons.
The whole objective in this this exercise in cooking the books is to make the Current Regime look good for the instant in which the news is released. No matter what the revisions may show later on, the world got that snapshot “selfie” of the Current Occupant now squatting in the White Hut, with the broad grin and “I got away with it again” demeanor.
Even endlessly repeated BS remains BS. But who keeps score?
After looking for over a year and submitting countless applications all over the country, my son finally found a job, so he’s counted in those 192K, I presume.
Scant consolation for a man with a JD. Many of his law school friends are still looking for jobs or working for slave wages.
By noon it will be the most dramatic economic turnaround in a century.
Hey there are more lawyers than needed, so if any of them find any kind of job, the money is beside the point. They should be thankful they can think and that they have a job.

I never fully understood the New Math, but those numbers just don’t look encouraging.
I have been looking for months and have had 9 interviews thus far. Horrible job market.....everyone I talk to says the same thing. Am going back for my MBA because in this economy, I just need to.
If I’m reading that chart right almost all of the growth was in part time employment.
At a minimum, part-time should be counted as something like half a job...otherwise someone is lying by omission. 476000 employment increase with 414000 of that part time employment added for various reasons.
