I lived in that neighborhood, right down the street from Finney HS at Cadieux and Chandler Park. This was 25 years ago. It wasn’t bad then, but you’d never catch me in that neighborhood now. It’s completely turned over. It’s sad what’s happened to Detroit.
I have pictures of their house when they first bought it, it was a brand new neighborhood that was mostly forrested at that time.
As you well know, all those houses in that area and yours weren't wooden structures, they were quality brick homes.....truly sad what happened to them.
