Sounds like application of the "three felonies a day" rule. Every citizen commits three felonies a day, whether they want to or not, because of so many vague, overlapping federal laws.

Who knows, maybe he cannot prove that one of the feathers on an Indian decoration predates the federal law that only allows possession by documented "native" americans.

guess they better seize Leno’s car collection.
you can’t be driving cars that don’t have safety equipment compliant with today’s laws!

thank goodness the FBI is keeping us ‘safe’.

This is a perfect example of a country where the state has become eveerything. Government now intrudes into evey aspect of our lives whether its constitutional or not. And it intrudes in a very jackbooted way.

Soon it will be time to decide what we are going to do about it.

I’m just wondering, did the FBI have a search warrant and did they have “probable cause”? The FBI should have been required to name SPECIFICALLY what they were looking for and what crime was allegedly committed with respect to the named item or items. This could be just another instance of bad reporting, but the story makes it sound like the FBI went on a fishing expedition based on hearsay.

It’s a federal fishing expedition. They’re looking for a pretext to seize (steal) the collection, probably on a technicality.

Most recently Dr Miller developed the technology to locate any transmitter through triangulation after the beacon has failed. This technology would be very useful say if an airplane went down and was unable to be located . . .

Looking at the photo of Dr. Miller’s home it is very obvious that he installed several 40’-50’ antenna towers on his property which is located out in the middle of nowhere. The FBI (or some agency) set up containment/quarantine tents all over his property and there is no identification of any particular government agencies on the vehicles on his property. I was able to locate video showing those towers being removed which would fall under the definition of artifact but weren’t mentioned by reporters.

The fact that the the news doesn’t mention that this man was very prominent in the development of nuclear weapons, space science, groundbreaking transponder technology, spectral analysis or the sole heir to his famous brothers research on the origins of life is wherein the truth lies.

Every citizen commits three felonies a day

On Fridays I always try to commit at least six felonies along with at least one grievous act of treason against the Obama Administration.

Sure. They refuse to prosecute real criminals, and to get the arrest numbers up they go after normal people.
