Gay marriage never was an issue until finally you guys, with your busybody ways of banning this inanimate item, that inanimate item, the other inanimate item, got a government so powerful it could order a state to support gay marriage. NOW, the lid was off of Pandoras box. And you pried at its hinges.
In keeping with your reversal of Satan for God, you blame Christian voters for gay marriage, instead of the liberals and libertarians who fought and voted for it and won.
You gloat, and then you continue your fight against Christians by telling us not to fight gay marriage, not to support conservative pro-God candidates, but instead to support politicians that will make it permanent.
You fight for gay marriage and anti-God politics, in the name of God, a particularly nasty way to mock the social conservative Christians that you despise so much.
You oppose us and you oppose God, and you oppose social conservatism, it is what you are dedicated to politically, and give your energies to.
This is the big government position.
“I think that the Republican Party, in order to get bigger, will have to agree to disagree on social issues,” Paul advised. “The Republican Party is not going to give up on having quite a few people who do believe in traditional marriage. But the Republican Party also has to find a place for young people and others who dont want to be festooned by those issues.”
agreed -
Gee, I didn’t even know you guys were posting behind a freepers back.
Just recently the laws and regulations were changed to reflect acceptance of gay marriage at the federal level, in the military, federal employment and immigration, in keeping with the libertarian and liberal philosophy.
Christians/conservatives are against those laws and want to protect God’s marriage, you two oppose us and are fighting to preserve.....gay marriage at the federal level, and for a strategy and political activism, that makes it legal at the national level.
Rand Paul just came out for the same libertarian/rino gay marriage position that you two are pushing, gay marriage, and in fact to drop social conservatism and join the left/libertarians in social liberalism, just end entirely, traditional America.
We could do the same pointing to Lindsay Graham as he self identifies as a conservative...
puh-leeze - Rand doesn't speak for me, no more than Graham speaks for you.
Not sure what you were trying to say there, especially since I never said that Rand Paul speaks for you, but perhaps you can expand on Paul not being libertarian and how he strays from libertarianism, aside from his being pro-life, so far.
What do you disagree with in post 64?
