Republican senators dig in against primary challenges from tea party
Los Angeles Times ^ | April 5, 2014 | By Lisa Mascaro

Like Sen. Thad Cochran in Mississippi, this time GOP incumbents in Kansas, Kentucky and South Carolina are confronting their challengers head-on and vigorously defending their records, in sometimes surprising ways.

The six-term senator is defending his seat against a tea party upstart whose supporters are using Cochran's seniority as an example of all that is wrong with Washington. They have crowned Cochran the "No.1 pooh-bah of pork."

The race in Mississippi — along with Republican primaries in Kansas, Kentucky and South Carolina — is the latest chapter in the GOP-establishment-versus-tea-party standoff that has defined the last two congressional election cycles.

Senate beltway careerists like Cochran and Roberts never dig in against the kenyan. We must remove those that will not engage the rampaging Dems.

Add TN Sen lamar alexander 73 promised 2 terms and out, in a special book he wrote, running for 3rd term RINO DELUXE. Voted to MUG the Military. Voted Internet taxes. Does NOT listen to constituents. Votes to often with DemoRATS.

TN State Rep Joe Carr has a conservative voting record, you can check. Lamar has HUGE war chest and matching federal funds and backing of National GOP ORGS.

DO NOT GIVE A DIME TO A NATIONAL GOP ORG, CHOKE OFF THEIR RINO PROPPING UP, DONATED TO YOUR CANDIDATE DIRECT!

You can always count on elitist republicans to do the dirty work for liberals.

A vote against Lindsey Graham is a vote against John McCain.

Being “anti accountability” IS practically THE functional definition of liberalism!

I have not read this piece from the Los Angeles Slime, a paper whose front page is an editorial for leftists and their ilk. This paper is dying so quickly—as it should—and they still refuse to acknowledge why: never let the truth get in the way of your agenda. This is not a NEWSpaper but a PROPAGANDApaper.

Susan Collins of Maine promised two terms as a senator and no more, also.

She’s now running for her fourth term.

Collins has already started to run campaign commercials,
showing lobster traps being pulled out of the ocean on Maine’s coast and how she is “fighting climate change” to protect Maine’s coast. Sigh.

The rest of the commercial shows those damn windmills while the voice-over prattles about how Collins supports “alternative energy.”

I live in Maine and I’m writing in someone else’s name on the ballot in November. 2012 was the last year I’ll cast a vote for a RINO. I’m done with them.

We should put out an ad for Lamar:

“Vote Alexander, he will listen to your concerns ..... at least he’ll listen in five years when he’s up for re-election again. Until then, suck it up.”

I was in SC a couple of weeks ago..

From the TV ads you would think Lindsey Graham was God’s gift to Conservatism..

He walks on water, etc

meanwhile here in TN we have RINO Lamar Alexander running for reelection..

we hope to primary him this time with Joe Carr..

Remember how hard Romney attacked and fought his challengers in the 2012 republican primaries?

Then when it came time to go up against O'Bozo he folded like a $2 beach chair.

TN State Rep Joe Carr, with a conservative voting record is running against lamar. But as usual big war chest, election money, and National GOP ORS money, they can out spend him.

He can’t afford the ads, lamar can and is running them.
