If he’s the only way that you’re going to get rid of a ‘rat in that office then at least he’s a vote against Harry Reid for ML.

I voted for Brown in 2010. He ran as a conservative. Then once elected, he was nowhere to be seen, and voted as a moderate-liberal. I can forgive a lot, but his vote for Dodd-Frank I could not forgive. Nor could I forgive his advocating for gun control and saying that he thought it was just fine for Obama to make recess appointments while the senate was still in session.
I want the NH seat to go republican, but I know Brown. Before long, he will leave the republican party like Jim Jeffords did.

That’s the nature of politics. Nicey, nicey speakers like Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush and John Boehner and Mitch McConnell don’t get people to the polls with torch and pitchfork in hand.
We’re not going to win by being nice or reasonable with the democrats, because they are not reasonable...and they are NEVER honest when it comes to politics...and they exaggerate with abandon. Whatever gets them elected!
Republicans and in MASS voted for Scott Brown because Willard who had once been a GOPe gov there strongly endorsed him...
Everything Willard Mitt Rom,ney touches turns to dross or he only touches dross but nothing has ever seemed to succfeeed..
Plus there was that time with Willard’s Big Daddy George Romney when he was running for gov of Michigan..
He too wouldn’t pick a party and stay with them but instead he seemed to think they all should get in line behind him..and he played them of against each other..
The Democrats were the first ones to finally demand that George just pick one of the parties and stay with it..
George was so insulted that he chose the Republicans to “punish” the Democrats who to his surprised left him...
Son Willard plays some of the same game..both sides of the fence..
Did Willard go to MASS and endorse Scott Brown knowing he was somewhat like the Rom,ney dad, or did Willard tell Brown to play games ???
Or was Brown sworn to vote for RomneyCare/ObamaCare to give Willard that lasting legacy ???

Brown and Romney are unrelated. Brown was a good candidate here in MA. He was a Rep who won a race against all odds to the state senate. Then when Ted Kennedy’s seat opened up, he stepped up to run for it. We knew he was moderate on the social issues but figured he’d be good on everything else. He was elected overwhelmingly. It was amazing. And then he came under McCain’s wing in the senate and voted liberal almost all down the line. He was a major disappointment.
Romney has very little relation to politicians here in MA. Even as governor, he kept his distance from everybody. He’s just that type of guy, not the ordinary guy type that Brown is (to his credit, even though I would never vote for him again).
George Romney was an anti-Goldwater republican. And when he tried to run for president in ‘68, he said he was “brainwashed” regarding Viet Nam, to which Gene McCarthy said “a light rinse would have been sufficient!”
George’s son Mitt is the type that thought he would just be granted office. He didn’t fight for the senate seat in ‘94, he did fight for the governorship because he wanted power as a stepping stone to the presidency, which he also thought he’d be granted.
The Washington Post has picked a party (Democrat), so they expect everyone else to do the same.
Thanks. Yesterday I commented on a thread...Glenn Beck stating that McConnell was just as bad as Obama. That’s so silly. ..but some folks live in a conspiratorial world.
