I am not quite sure of your point. Yes, TToE vs Creationism (vs. ID) is a purely philosophical discussion since science is only represented in the first “side.”

I just want lurkers to know many Conservatives do understand science and that YECers are (loud) outliers.

That is my point, halfway. I call it theological, or socio-political, but philosophical is ok. But the other half of my point is that science is represented on neither side.

That’s the devil’s snare, the false dichotomy that  liberal world view wants to promote. 

YEC’s as you call them can actually make good socio-political points. 

There is no reason we have to accept liberal hierarchy and what is essentially a caste system.
