You could be right that she was using medical marijuana for pain management or other medical problem. It won’t do anything for Alzheimers, but co-existing conditions such as joint pain or what have you certainly could be alleviated with marijuana.

That may be true, but if she's high she hopefully wasn't driving herself home.

Same rule for a severe Alzheimer's patient, or someone drunk.
