Sorry if I hurt your feelings, but the jerk is making a fortune off of the political system that is destroying my country.

So no, I don't have much use for him.

Castle would have won that seat in a walk.

He is lying there, and he is lying about 2012, when the GOPe lost about 10 Senate races, Akin wasn't tea party and Michael knows that.

What Mike is saying can be summarized simply: when conservatives use media to encourage their base of support, the elites in the Republican party screw them in the election, so it must be the fault of those who are enthusiastic enough to get involved.

On the left, when media is used to encourage their base of support, everyone falls in line behind the candidate.

Yep. The evil party and the stupid party.

Since when are opinions lies? Actually they lost 2 seats in the Senate. He never said that Akin was a tea party member.

Stop making things up.

When someone works so hard and manipulates his writing to write an article that is a lie, then it is a lie.

Castle would have also lost, and it isn’t merely an “opinion” for Reagan to breezily try to convince you that “”Castle would have won that seat in a walk.””

Nor did he just accidently try to leave you with the impression that Akin was a part of this “tea party” article.

Michael-”In 2012 it was the same dumb story - rousing Tea Party primary victories that thrilled conservative talk-show hosts in May but guaranteed GOP losses in the fall.
Yes, Ted Cruz won big in Texas. But only four of the 16 Senate candidates backed by the Tea Party won in the fall.
It wasn’t pretty in 2012.”

Cruz won, and that has proven to be huge in it’s effect on national politics and the future of conservatism, Palin gave us our only Senate seat pick up when we won Nebraska.

Rove and the GOPe lost ALL of their senate races, about 10 or 11 of them, and they lost a presidential election that republicans couldn’t lose.

Remember Christine O’Donnell in Delaware?

She defeated U.S. Rep. Michael Castle in the GOP primary for an open Senate seat.

And? She did good by getting rid of a liberal Republican.

What a disappointment that Michael Reagan has joined the losers attacking Conservatives. His father was derided by the same GOPe he is now joining.
