THERE are unconfirmed reports that the black box flight recorder from missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 has been found.
Perth radio station 6PR tweeted the report, citing aviation expert Geoffrey Thomas.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott, who is in China, is giving a pre-planned press conference at 2pm AEST.

When the majority of the major news outlets are touting a story, it’s a safe bet to look into the opposite.
If the plane is relatively intact, how does a remote sub get a black box out?
Check the graphics on that webpage that shows how deep the ocean is. I never had a clue Whales of all things, Mammals by the way, swam that deep.

I actually don’t know, but it’s been done before, so they obviously have some approach that works.

It would be tough. In an F-16, the FDR is bolted to the frame of the aircraft by for four hex head fasteners.
The sub would have to have the ability to unscrew the fasteners with the properly sized driver.
Also, the wiring harness would need to be uncoupled or cut.
I don’t have any experience with CVR’s but the procedure would likely be similar.

And that assumes it is not resting on it or buried deep under silt.
IF they find a black box (huge if), then they’ll find a plane (or whats left of it) around it. Are you suggesting they will plant a whole plane there too?
If the black boxes are down there than so is the plane..if they find the boxes without the actual plane I will think some shenanigans are going on here
