That’s even worse.
Yes..it is.
Let’s all laugh at the footage!
... And Tosh will be the first one to publicly joke about it. Just wait.
I think you’re talking about “Albert,” the 60-year old, drunk, no-longer-armed man from the recent report on the Albuquerque PD. Forty-seven officers responded. He wasn’t killed. He received a cash award from the city.
They bean-bagged him five times, tased him five times, flash-banged him, shot him with a load of four wooden rods (two of which penetrated the skin), and sent a dog on him. “Albert” had dropped the knife before walking away from the officer with the bean-bag shotgun.

What’s the problem? It’s all right there in the training manual.
Why do you want to punish the taxpayer by keeping these murderers alive? Isn't murder a capital crime?
Put them to death and be done with it.
I understand that policemen and policewomen are under constant threat nowadays -- but it seems to me there are way too many times when it's more convenient to just shoot. Other examples: the old man picking up his walking cane, the teen who answered the door with something in his hand.
I was in the wrong when I circled
back around toward some women who had
honked at me in anger. I got out
of my car and followed them on foot.
They called the police. I ended up
in handcuffs for not saying more than
I cared to. I didn’t need to say
anything, especially because
I did nothing.
The women could have driven away.
They thought the police would teach
me a lesson, and they were right.
The police were looking for anything
to make me angry and react so they
could bring me in for not talking to
them.
For example, I began to get up to
help them put the cuffs on me. This
almost set them off. They accused
me of doing things to my wife.
In the end, they had to let me go,
but they really, Really, REALLY
want me to react and to book me
for something.
Keep calm and say nothing!
Just damn. RIP.
It appears that wild shooting and stray rounds by Boston police may have hit their fellow officer.
FOX NEWS
“Feds not alleging Boston Marathon suspect shot officer, but say he’s still responsible
n a court filing Friday, prosecutors said the government doesn’t intend to offer evidence that Tsarnaev shot Donohue.
Instead the government alleges Tsarnaev is responsible for Donohue’s injuries because Donohue was shot while he and other officers were attempting to prevent Tsarnaev’s escape.”
The incident involved 47 responding officers, and like your case, beanbags, multiple events of tasing, K-9 units, and flash-bang grenades. This event also involved shooting the victim with wooden rods.
I hope you can see how I thought the cases were the same from your description.
Yeah, I can see the confusion. Startling similarities. Suggests a pattern. That may not be all bad - the officers are obviously following a protocol to the letter ah, “with enthusiasm” shall we say. Seems the protocol and training is what needs to be adjusted.
