Obama to Spend $1.5 Billion Promoting ObamaCare

The promotional budget for ObamaCare alone would cover much of the actual medical expenses for the people involved. But this was never about paying for medical care, it was about taking over health care for political reasons.

New Congressional estimates show the Obama administration is requesting another $774 million for Obamacare “outreach” and advertising in the 2015 budget. This is on top of the estimated $684 million they spent this year and the $52 million they spent on high-profile ads with athletes and Hollywood celebrities. That means the combined total in taxpayer funded advertising will be over $1.5 billion.

Barack Obama said last week, “We didn’t make a hard sell. We didn’t have billions of dollars in commercials like some critics did.”

maybe we should set up groups to get this promotion money, but actually tell the truth about obamacare rather than spout their lies.

1.5 Billion to secure the legacy of a failed President.
If the project was even feasible it would need no adverts.
Flawed from the start and will fail in the future! Any CEO knows if you have to spend more than what the product is worth the endeavor has failed and needs to be scrapped.
This is what Chicago style politics is. Lie to all but scam from the best!
3 card Monte anyone?
How many more billions can this fool spend with no return?

What’s the point of having a Republican house of they can’t stop wasting money?

Here’s the chance....and a chance as good as this won’t come along for a long time again, if ever. House? Close the checkbook.

At the average cost of $27K / yr of med school

That's low and isn't including fees.

With fees and insurance the cost of attendance is $32,197 and $54,625 for resident and nonresident students at public institutions and $50,078 at private institutions ... according to the Association of American Medical Colleges.

He's topping his own d@m# lies, now!

0DeathCare is nothing more than a means of lining the pockets of Dims, Lobbyists and (likely) RINO's and gaining control of the masses via making decisions on who gets what treatment. Period.

And WHO gives him this money to spend? A Republican held house...that can defund the enforcement of incandescent lightbulbs (but not have enough guts to repeal the damned thing). So They do have the power to DEFUND but they don’t do it. Who is the problem, the kid that gets drunk or the parent who gives him the alcohol?

IMHO there is absolutely NO REASON to have a GOP led House if they do not have the WILL to follow through with the reason why we sent them to the House as the OPPOSITION party. They have the Constitution authority to DEFUND these programs and yet the GOP-e RINOs running the House "belly ache" about these issues and hold kabuki theater votes - e.g. repealing Ocare, but when after they are voted back into office they go about their business of joining the RAT party and growing bigger Fed Govt.

For all the good GWB did in his eight years, he gave us the current RAT clown in office, by growing the Fed Govt bigger and bigger and increasing the national debt more than any previous President.

Once the 2012 elections were over the GOP RINOs went back to funding the social policies that they had JUST RAN AGAINST. No more votes for GOP RINOs, and no more money from me to fund the RNC, NRCC, and NRSC. I continue to contribute to conservative individuals and to Tea Party affiliated organization.

It certainly would have gone a ways to provide health insurance for the 30-45 millions who were claimed to be uninsured before the clown began his destruction of 1/6th of our economy.
