Boehner’s tea party primary challenger accuses him of ‘Electile Dysfunction’ in new ad [VIDEO]

House Speaker John Boehner’s tea party primary opponent J.D. Winteregg is releasing a new parody ad Monday accusing Boehner of “Electile Dysfunction.”

WATCH THE NEW AD HERE

“If you have a Boehner lasting more than 23 years, seek immediate medical attention,” according to the online ad, which seeks to nationalize Winteregg’s fundraising ahead of the May 6 Ohio eighth district Republican primary. (RELATED: TheDC Interview with J.D. Winteregg)

“The intent [with the ad] is to nationalize this thing. He’s everyone’s speaker. He’s my representative, yeah, but he’s America’s speaker. We want to get my name out there and tell people there’s an alternative,” Winteregg told The Daily Caller Sunday night, outlining a “two-pronged approach” that includes a fierce ground game in his district and also a national fundraising campaign. It’s a strategy, according to his veteran Republican campaign consultants, that worked for Scott Brown in 2010, as the unknown tea party favorite mixed district door-knocking with a national drive to provide the forty-first vote in the Senate to block Obamacare.

Winteregg, 32, needs between 40,000 and 50,000 votes to defeat Boehner in next month’s primary, which is expected to draw about 85,000 Republican voters. Boehner is now paying workers to go door-to-door disseminating information, including some targeting Winteregg. The underdog gained traction after an endorsement from the Tea Party Leadership Fund PAC, which found that only 25 percent of Boehner’s own Ohio constituents still support him when he’s paired against any no-name challenger.

Sometimes you’ve got to get into the mud.....The Left has had the monopoly on Alinskyite tactics, and the fact is, like it or not, they work.

It’s time to start throwing it right back at them. In politics, nice guys finish last.

And you remind me of someone’s official campaign enforcer. I said I believe that line was not going to be effective, for the reasons I already stated, and I will stand by my comments.

It may or may not be effective….but he has only one chance in this race…to throw the hail Marys, to take risk, to throw long…..go for the green in 2….whatever analogy you like. He will never ever win playing it safe and conventional.

To analyze this ad out of that context is to render your analysis non relevant.

No rats in there…..you are a pro life liberal, and thus have no credibility to call anyone around here a liberal. You have no intellectual basis to question one’s conservatism based on how they react to an ad. And it’s infantile to think that not supporting someone for President = being anti that person over all.

Lotta people I support to one degree or another….scant few of them would I support for President. Maybe that’s not over your head.

I love the ad. IT fits the weeping speaker perfectly. IF Boehner plays his cards correctly he could replace Bob Dole's little blue pill ads. Boehner loves universal health care so much he is FORCING a free people to pay for his ideology.

As you read more of the posts on this thread. You will see that you are once again in the minority. Of course a person with no morals as yourself find that not a problem. The ad is disgusting and repulsive and that is the bottom line. Glad to see as a LEADER that once I put my post down that people lined up in droves to agree with me. You wants again on the losing side. Liberal that you are and all.

actually, I don't think that's the case at all. Not that a single thread matters as far as meaningful statistics, but reading up the latest 20 posts of so, looks like it's about 4-1 or maybe 4-2 (depending on how you count one post). And one of the "no" votes was because it was only preaching to the choir. Which is fine, ads like this are for FUNDRAISING to the choir outside of ohio, which is why they do these ads. This is part of a campaign.

You are just bad at math as you are at political analysis…..a quick persual shows 12 commenters like, 5 dislike, and 2 are somewhere in the middle. Of the 5 that disliked, 2 only disliked because of its lack of effectiveness in their minds, meaning only 3 were morally offended as you.

Again, not that it matters, but you got your fanny kicked in pure numbers too! (this is of post 47, count was quick, very quick, but it’s darned close if not exactly correct) ..

“To analyze this ad out of that context is to render your analysis non relevant.”

It’s not my analysis (I’m not writing a book), it’s my opinion, and relevance is in the mind of the reader.

Try to imagine, if you will, what will happen with “elictile dysfunction” if he wins the primary. How many people will hear it spoken and think it was “erectile dysfunction”? Do think there is any possible chance the leftist media will use that little crudeness to slap him around, much the same way they used Romney’s “47%” comment? Would they try to use this as disrespecting people with a physical problem? How about the radical feminists? Boy , I’ll bet they’ll have lot’s o’ fun with this one. What about during an interview with Bob Schieffer, when he’s trying to make his points about policy and he is asked to defend such a “vile accusation”? Do you think, for a single second, that Lil’ Debbie Scultz, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, et al., won’t try to find a way to turn that into proof that “Republicans are disgusting human beings”?

He is not campaigning in a vacuum and he will not be able to reset everything back to zero after the primary. While his little joke might warrant a couple of chuckles, and maybe raise a few dollars, his ultimate target has to be the Democrat candidate. To that end he needs to not gather a bunch of useless baggage during the primary. He might be the better choice for the Republican rep, but we all need to remember that the most important thing is that we do not give any seats to the Dems, and little things matter. Remember Macaca?

Just get rid of the boner and things improve - the MSM and Dems will trash us anyway - we should not hide under the table over this

Someone needs to explain why a Dem beating Bhoner is a bad thing. His loss will be offset by a gain elsewhere and we have a ‘figurative...since they don’t use it) anyway.

He wants amnesty, the Dem wants Amnesty. He has stopped meaningful investigation into the multiple scandals, so will the dem. He is caving on gay and social issues daily, the Dem is already there. He keeps funding Obamacare, so will the Dem.

So unless someone gives an explanation around here as to why a Dem win of Bhoner’s seat is WORSE than leaving him there considering the FACTS above, it looks to me like a few pwople on this thread WANT the RINO control to continue.

If it takes a Dem to get this jackass out of government, so be it. Call it a ‘lesser evil’ ;)

What sucks it it is taking time we do not have for people to wake up...enough of them anyway. To be sure, more and more are daily. But we are losing the race with time. And by election day we will again hear the vapid screaming of the fear brigade. And they will likely, again, convince people to keep empowering RINOs.

Then those people will come here and other places and complain again about the result. More liberalism in the GOP, more Amnesty, more gay, more screwed vets and active service...all of it.

The majority party owns the speakership. The speaker has immense power as far as what goes up for a vote. Getting rid of Boehner as speaker would be a good thing except if it meant giving the seat up to the Democrats. I just can’t understand why some people think it is better to have a Dem that a moderate Repub. I would eat steak every day if I could afford the calories and fat, but I can’t, so I don’t. That doesn’t mean I’m going to just give away all my food. Some days it’s just beans and cornbread.

We lose one seat to the dems and strip a massive amount of power from the RINOs in the process in trade.

Please. Show us all where Bhoner has done more to help America than the Dems. I pointed out the facts on big issues. They are not in your favor. If you cannot, then why in Gods name would you want him in power. His seat goes to a freshman dem with no power. We get a break a big part of the RINO hold on power.

What happened to all the hold feet to fire and lesser evil mantras?

Winteregg told The Daily Caller Sunday night, outlining a “two-pronged approach”...

Well, he appears to have one up on Bo[eh]ner, who would seem to have only a "one-pronged approach."

Just getting into the spirit of the ad is all :).
