The points of whether women should be put in a dangerous situation, and for what reasons have long been the subject of debate. However, the title to this thread implies that this ‘action plan’ by a retired Sheriff who was there is and was sanctioned by Bundy. I have seen no evidence that supports this except the interview with this retired Sheriff using a generic “we”.

There were hundreds of people there, all in general support of Bundy and his tiff with the BLM. However, it is possible (likely even) that he doesn’t subscribe to the views of everyone there.

That sounds acceptable. However, anyone who puts themselves out there as a spokesperson - especially in a situation such as this - needs to be extremely careful as to what they say and/or do. The media - all media, including FNC - will twist the words around to make the Bundy supporters look bad.

Example - also during the weekend - on Sunday - FNC calls the supporters allegded patriots. Already the MSM propaganda starts. So people need to be careful as to what they say.
