How many billions have the Obama’s wasted on frivolous travel and fabulous vacations?

These two women are pikers compared to politicians. But in today’s climate of free welfare why wouldn’t these two welfare queens feel it was perfectly acceptable to live off welfare with phony names. We have a federal government that celebrates illegal aliens at the expense of legal immigrants and citizens. He hands out a trillion dollars a year in new welfare benefits. You subsidize something you get more of it. Subsidize criminal welfare freeloaders and these are the women you get that elect charlatans like Obama.

His attorney Jonathan Friedman said a sentence of less than a year may help persuade an immigration judge to allow Gonzalez, who is in the country legally, to remain in the United States after he completes his prison term.

The sophisticated scheme began in 2003 when Valle-Clas persuaded the Broward County Housing Authority to give her monthly checks to live in two homes she owned in North Lauderdale. Later, by again lying about her marital status, her bank accounts and her ownership of businesses, including a printing company, she got the Boca Raton Housing Authority to pay her rent to live in the Loxahatchee, Fla., home, according to court documents.

The beauty of having two Social Security numbers is that Valle-Clas could use one to cry poverty and the other to persuade banks she was a good credit risk, said prosecutor Carolyn Bell. Valle-Clas got a $136,000 loan to build the house in Loxahatchee. On the mortgage application, she reported having $37,000 in the bank and earning $4,800-a-month.

“On one hand she said she had no money and was destitute and on the other hand she was applying for loans for tens of thousands of dollars,” Bell said.

She was able to pull off the scams mainly by lying about her marital status, bank accounts, and business ownership. She claimed to own a printing company that apparently never existed.

From at least December 2003 to January 2013, she used the SSN for “Nereida Valle” to obtain almost $500,000 in federal housing, social security, food, cash, and medical benefits from HUD, SSA, USDA and HHS. At the same time, she used the SSN for “Gloria Lopes Clas” to obtain mortgage loans and buy real estate in both Broward and Palm Beach Counties. As “Gloria Clas,” she sold two Broward properties for a profit of over $200,000. She also purchased over an acre of property in Loxahatchee on which she built an approximately 2,700 square foot residence. After the residence was built, she received a $200,000 HELOC collateralized by the property, but defaulted on it owing over $150,000. At various times, her husband, Gonzalez, assisted her in obtaining housing benefits.

Valle-Clas, who formally changed her name from “Nereida Valle” to “Gloria Nereida Valle-Clas” in 2003, used approximately 12 aliases in perpetrating the scheme, most of which were variations on “Nereida Valle” and “Gloria Lopes Clas.”

This has been going on for a long time. There is a great murder mystery set in the 1940s UK that revolves around an attorney who mortgaged the same farm twice during the 1930s, using two different sets of deeds, one of which he created in his office. As long as everything is routine paperwork, nobody looks twice.

“To be ripping off our government — every agency by every means possible.”

Our senators and congressmen do far worse than this every day of the year and no one says a thing.

FLORIDA TOPS MORTGAGE FRAUD LIST Florida Broker Sentenced to 42 Months for Mortgage Fraud Scheme----October 17, 2012

(Source: FBI) - Juan Carlos Rodriguez, 52, a real estate agent and mortgage broker from Weston, Florida, was sentenced yesterday by U.S. District Judge Kenneth A. Marra for his participation in a mortgage fraud scheme relating to properties in the Versailles development in Wellington, Florida.

Rodriguez pled guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud, wire fraud, and financial institution fraud, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1349, and conspiracy to commit money laundering, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1956(h).

Over the last five years, more than 30 defendants have been prosecuted for mortgage fraud schemes in the Versailles neighborhood. Most recently, in addition to Rodriguez, eight other individuals have pled guilty and been sentenced in four related mortgage fraud schemes that were centered in Versailles:

According to court documents, the defendants used “straw buyers” to submit false documentation to various mortgage lenders substantially inflating the purchase price of the properties.

As part of the conspiracy, duplicate HUD-1 Settlement Statements were prepared. One set, listing the real price, was provided to the seller; another set, with the inflated price, was provided to the lender.

The fraudulent loan proceeds were then laundered through multiple accounts to conceal the source and distribution of the money and were ultimately used for the benefit of the defendants and their co-conspirators.

Investigative efforts of the FBI, coordinated with IRS-CID, U.S. Secret Service, Florida’s Department of Financial Services and Office of Financial Regulation, FDLE, and the Palm Beach County Mortgage Fraud Task Force.

EXCERPT More at website of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida at www.usdoj.gov/usao/fls.

CIRCA 2005---NJ BERGEN RECORD---Pelcastre brothers, Angel and Jorge, Dallas, Texas, were a walking threat to US national security, expert document forgers who, for a few thousand dollars, could give anyone a new identity (many latinos establish multiple identities in order to ride the US gravy train).

The Texas brothers were a "one-stop shop" for a myriad of fake US documents, including birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver's licenses----for any state in the US------ passports and resident alien cards, said NJ state police.

The Texas brothers turned a NJ hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local NJ identity broker. Officers happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in a NJ hotel parking lot.

The Texas brothers were followed to a NJ office supply store nearby where they purchased computer supplies. Officers then followed the Texans to a NJ storage facility in Secaucus, NJ, where the Texans loaded several boxes into a car. One of them stood lookout. After a search, police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs.

All told, the haul was worth about $500,000 on the street when sold to "impoverished illegals." Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a NJ fake document broker for a shipment of 500 phony Social Security cards. ####

BILLION DOLLAR SUB-PRIME FRAUD ON CAPITOL HILLThe Congressional Hispanic Institute, Inc, is an entity organized by then-Cong Joe Baca (D-Cali) in his capacity as head of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

Then-Cong Baca created "HOGAR" (Spanish for home) in 2003 to work with the mortgage industry, lender and banks and latino community groups to increase mortgage lending to what savvy observers considered to be unqualified Latinos.

"HOGAR" colluded w/ Cong Baca in what was to become a massive bilking of taxpayers. Cong Baca calculatedly hyped the fact that the national Latino homeownership rate was 47%, compared with 68% for the overall population.

HOGAR was coached to call the figure "alarming," and to say "a concerted effort was required to ensure that by the end of the decade Latinos will share equally in the American Dream of home ownership."

HOGAR and Cong Baca conned the public, failing to note that most of the "dreamers" were illegals, citizens of Third World countries who had violated US borders.

Predictably, HOGAR colluded w/ co-conspirators which included:

(a) shaky mortgage companies that ran into big trouble;

(b) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, both now under federal control after billions in taxpayer bailouts;

(c) Countrywide Financial Corp., sold to Bank of America Corp;

(d) Washington Mutual Inc., taken over by the US government and sold to J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.; and,

(e) New Century Financial Corp. and Ameriquest Mortgage Corp, both now defunct, killed by defaulted subprime Latino mortgages.

HOGAR's ties to the subprime mortgage industry were substantial. Bribery and self-dealing were rampant:

<><> Companies that donated $150,000 to Cong Baca got the right to have their own research fellow who would conduct fraudulent studies, which were cunningly used by industry lobbyists to pump lending.

<><> Bribery and extortion in the form of $100,000 annual donations to Cong Baca, for which HOGAR provided phony news releases from Cong Baca's Hispanic Caucus promoting a lender's commercial products to the Latino market,

<><> The most shocking example of bribery well-substantitated by Hogar's literature..... HOGAR announced it worked with Freddie Mac on a self-serving two-year examination of Latino homeownership in 63 congressional districts.

The "study" found Hispanic ownership on the rise thanks to "new flexible mortgage loan products" that the industry was adopting at the urging of Cong Baca's collusive coterie.

<><> HOGAR conned lenders into even more lenient down-payment and underwriting standards.

<><> As the subprime debacle unfolded, HOGAR declined repeated requests for comment despite the economic havoc their activities precipitated.

The mortgage schemes demonstrated the criminal activities of border violators with multiple identities---perhaps violent, terrorist-connected foreigners---colluding and conspiring to defraud private companies and public entities. And mortgage racketeering enterprises which employed sub rosa finance and business practices to carry out deceptions and frauds.

The alleged ring of swindlers---a Congresman, individuals with multiple identities, banks, insurance companies, mortgage nrokers--might be charged with cheating the US govt, taxpayers and bank share holders out of hundreds of millions of dollars via an elaborate web of mortgage and bank frauds.

The mortgage Dreamers used multiple phony identities, fraudulent Social Security numbers, purchased from identity forgers in order to obtain govt-subsidized benefits.

L/E will find that individuals with multiple identities obtained fraudulent mortgages then flipped the houses at ever-higher prices to family member who then absconded to foreign countries, sticking banks (and taxpayers) with hundreds of millions in fraudulent mortgages.

BACKGROUND A Wall Street Journal investigative report related that, according to the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council examination of the borrowing spree, uncovered financial schemes by low-income housing groups, Hispanic lawmakers, a congressional Hispanic housing initiative, mortgage lenders and brokers, all colluding in fraduent schemes to increase homeownership among Latinos with forged documents which enabled massive fraud.

This was not simply the mortgage market at work. It was fueled by avarice, greed, and Congressional enabling fraudulent practices. In 2005 alone, mortgages to Hispanics jumped by 29%; Latinos with multiple fraudulent identities in low-paying jobs obtained subprime mortgages for prime properties---soaring to 169%.

(Research provided by Wall Street Journal. Some material excerpted from the NY Times.

================================================

The separatist blood-thirsty "La Raza" was given tax dollars and Congressional earmarks to finance its so-called mortgage activities. La Raza's "strategic partnerships” with Wachovia and Bank of America caused taxpayers billions in bailouts and decimated the US economy.

La Raza aided and abetted risky federal and private-home loans to latinos over the last decade. thanks to the lending industry’s version of “don’t ask, don’t tell.” In addition to millions of federal tax dollars, La Raza also collected a $1 million Democratic earmark that funded “community-development” projects. Analysts report that much of it went to "mortgage counseling."
