This could be as simple as an iodine deficiency.

Gee thats an appropriate criticism of a young lady in her position. It makes you look like such a good person to be checking her spelling.
The doctors who initiated the action had a financial interest in using her for research through grants.
From my reading of the multitude of articles it appears to be due to that financial interest, but now involves a bureaucracy which refuses to admit it was wrong. They are even willing to let this girl die rather than admit error.
In my extended life span there would have been a time I would have absolutely called BS on such a thing going on in America, but after observing the Democrats over the years, and seeing them change from pack of idiots to radical pack of idiots, and they having succeeded in their quest for leadership in almost every aspect of this Nations government in spite of they being the minority (which they are) I fear the truth is in the unbelievable.

One of the most brilliant financial analysts I have ever known cannot spell a lick. Good spelling and proper grammar are not the only indicators of intelligence.
