In Kansas, Milton Wolf is beginning to do what I suggested this morning he do — reach out to Kansas voters to show he is a credible alternative to Pat Roberts.

Here is the first in his series of ad buys:

Wolf is a disaster. There is no way in the World that Wolf will win the Primary, and if by some weird chance he does? The Democrats will take this seat in November!

“no way in t he world”? This is crass, but, at age 77, if Pat Roberts goes to that big Senate Chamber in the sky before Election Day........

He'd probably get the sympathy vote and Kansas GOP primary voters would re-nominate the dead guy over the creepy living guy whose entire campaign revolves around him being "Obama's cousin"

Not crass so much as a stupid, desperate tactic. He’s 77 (with no serious medical conditions that have been reported) so he MIGHT die before the election, therefore people should vote for Cousin Milty? Seriously? That’s pathetic.

So Roberts is

1)Old, like a bunch of Senators
2)Spends a lot of his time in DC, like a bunch of Senators

And those are the only reasons any Milty supporter can come up with as to why a proven conservative Senator needs to be replaced by some random unvetted guy? Not close to good enough!

While I think it’s unlikely that Wolf would manage to blow the general election and lose to the rats broke second tier candidate (the DA of Shawnee County [Topeka]), I wouldn’t rule it out entirely, not after seeing how pitiful his campaign is.
