Climate change cult has to shout louder to be heard amid public skepticism
Washington Examiner ^ | April 16, 2014 | by Cal Thomas

The cult centered on “global warming” alarmism is getting hot under the collar. People seem to have stopped paying attention, and polls show “climate change” barely registers on a list of voters' concerns.

This can only mean, as losing politicians like to say, that their message isn’t getting through. What to do? Why, shout louder, of course.

A recent story in the New York Times sought to help alarmists raise the decibel level: “The countries of the world have dragged their feet so long on global warming that the situation is now critical, experts appointed by the United Nations reported Sunday, and only an intensive worldwide push over the next 15 years can stave off potentially disastrous climatic changes later in the century.”

Shouting louder would be an advantage to global warming cult because doing so puts more CO2 in the air.

The cult centered on “global warming” alarmism is getting hot under the collar. People seem to have stopped paying attention, and polls show “climate change” barely registers on a list of voters' concerns.

This is largely due to the efforts of Vladimir Putin who got a group of Russia's top hackers in a room and said something like "Guys, I'm not gonna **** Russia's economy over a bunch of BS, I want you to BLAST your way into that East Anglia CU email database and spread to the four winds whatever you might happen to find there"...

That was the genesis of "climategate" and the point at which people who make decisions, or at least enough of them, stopped taking those idiots seriously. Other than for that, we might all be rubbing sticks together to make fire by now.

Late enough so by that time no one will care that we reported total fabrications

No smoking hot spot

1. The greenhouse signature is missing. We have been looking and measuring for years, and cannot find it.

Each possible cause of global warming has a different pattern of where in the planet the warming occurs first and the most. The signature of an increased greenhouse effect is a hot spot about 10km up in the atmosphere over the tropics. We have been measuring the atmosphere for decades using radiosondes: weather balloons with thermometers that radio back the temperature as the balloon ascends through the atmosphere. They show no hot spot. Whatsoever.

If there is no hot spot then an increased greenhouse effect is not the cause of global warming. So we know for sure that carbon emissions are not a significant cause of the global warming. If we had found the greenhouse signature then I would be an alarmist again.

Where's the hot spot? (That question is for you too, Neil deGrasse Tyson)

Climate Change (formerly the New Ice Age and Global Warming) ... I think the writer of “Chicken Little” could sue them for copyright violations as they have copied the storyline.

I woke to my semi-planted garden being covered with snow this morning - almost one full month into spring. Here in Connecticut, the latest snow I ever remember in my 55 years was April 7th.

You can’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining and expect me to believe it.
