Sen. Reid calls supporters of Nevada rancher Bundy 'domestic terrorists'
Foxnews.com ^ | 4/17/2014

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said he believes the supporters who rallied around Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy in his fight against the federal government are “domestic terrorists” and Bundy does not respect his country.

The Las Vegas Journal-Review reported that Reid, D-Nev., made the comments at an event Thursday hosted by the paper called “Hashtags & Headlines.”

Federal land managers backed down in a weekend standoff with Bundy after hundreds of states' rights protesters, including armed militia members, showed up to protest federal officials seizing his cattle. Some protesters had their guns drawn and pointed toward law enforcement, some of whom were also armed. But ultimately, no shots were fired and the Bureau of Land Management reported that officials left over safety concerns.

Reid had harsh words for these supporters, saying the government cannot stop pursuing the issue.

“They’re nothing more than domestic terrorists,” Reid said, according to the paper. “I repeat: what happened there was domestic terrorism.”

Reid said he has been told a federal task force is being set up to deal with the Bundy situation, adding Bundy does not respect the U.S. or its laws.

Polls had Dingy and Angle in a dead heat. Dingy and his Union goons bused in the illegal/union hotel workers and offered free lunches and gift cards to them, IIRC.

I’m sure the FBI and Homeland security is hard at work analyzing photos video cell phone records etc etc identifying those who showed up to oppose the BLM for future.....reeducation.

That may happen is Repubs win the Senate, but on the other hand here are so many RINOs in the GOP today it isn’t funny, like my brother says: Today we have two partys: Democrats and Democrats lite.

Nothing's going to take US Senators down. McCain met with and provided arms to AlQaida, openly advocates for them. Murkowski got defeated in her primary, ran third party, and won the split vote. McConnell sold out for some construction projects and they all move on "business as usual". Jeff Flake and Kelly Ayotte traitored their voters before they even finished unpacking in DC, and that's okay. NOT ONE US Senator had the instincts in the fast-moving Bundy situation to support the rancher, even the ones on "our side".

The problem is the US Senate. It seems that a pol has to have demonstrated the strong potential to be corrupted before the ptb even let them be serious contenders. And if someone slips by, the DC fog quickly envelops them.

The Senate of ancient Rome would be an improvement over the guys and gals we have.

The “anarchist’s cookbook” should be enough to give would-be tyrants pause.

Don’t oppress the people who give you power, and there will be no “domestic terrorism”, ie, resistance to your tyranny.

And you know what’s funny, the whole concept of the Senator and Congressman started as mere messenger boys so farmers didn’t have to leave their crops to make their voices heard: They instead sent reps. So basically what we have here today are messenger boys who decided to make themselves King instead of the people who hired them in the first place. And not only that, these messenger boys have decided that they are above the law and can do anything they want. I will NEVER in my life ever call ANY politician including the President “Sir” for the simple fact it puts the people in a subservient position to the employee. THEY should call us “Sir” or “Madame”. When I call my Senator I want him referring to ME as Sir. People forget that so much today, WE the people are the boss, WE are the Kings NOT these freakin’ PUBLIC SERVANTS! Harry Reid is a lowly public servant and he should be FIRED and replaced with another messenger boy.

My wife said from the first day she heard of the BLM goons at the ranch in Nevada that before it is over those who oppose the government will be labeled domestic terrorist. Watch the state run media whores run with this narrative.

“In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”

Other than politically correct protest eventually any protest or public utterance against the government will get you a terrorist label and ye shall be sent to the nearest gulag for internment or re-programming.

Who would investigate him?

The Senate? He is Majority Leader and controls the Senate's agenda.

The House? That body cannot investigate members of the other body. That's for the Senate to do.

The Attorney General? He is Reid's strongest supporter next to the President.

Some legal officer in Nevada? He can only investigate what Reid does in Nevada?

This is one of those situations where there is no recourse except the ballot box, and if the ballot boxes are corrupt in Nevada, then there is no recourse within the law at all.
